Illinois couple claims $393 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot
Congratulations to Joe Patricia Busking !!! These two record making jackpots have taught me that: I will never tell any other player how they should choose their numbers. All of us who play are 18 years or older and we should be smart enough to make that decision on our own. Patricia used quick pick while Mavis L. Wancyzk picked her lucky winning numbers. I will not say, Pick some high and low numbers . NO Mavis won with her families birthday numbers. I feel privileged to be ab

$535 MILLION: Huge Powerball sales sparks early jackpot increase
In for 2 lines too. Plus with Powerplay. I'm surprised the jackpot estimate wasn't raised again to say $550 million annuity. Still at $535 million. Could this be another repeat of 2013 in which the estimate was overstated, short-changing the winner. We'll see soon enough. Wager the PB consortium is praying hard that PB rolls again, since MM is growing at a glacial pace. On a related topic, I did some browsing around the TX Lottery, and it's interesting to see the guaranteed base jackpot am

If there are winners on either or where and how many?
Just to get slightly over a 50% of one ticket winning about 130 million tickets must be sold. The last MM drawing had over 58 million in sales which is more than half of what is needed to get a 50% chance. Because it's $2 a ticket, PB needs to sell 258,890,850 tickets to get a 50% chance of the jackpot being hit and many more than the 36 million tickets sold for the last drawing. Not saying won't be hit, but they'll need a lot more in ticket sales just get to a 50% chance. I think if the

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Right. Because if there's around 1,200 books remaining there should be at least 18,000 prizes or 72,000 tickets so there's some discrepancies. There are books that many of us have been finding at stores that were activated, and not shown as in inventory from any of the lottery reports so we can assume there's more than 1,200 books out there when we account for books that are either sitting on a shelf and selling very slowly, in the warehouse, or even lost . It is normal for 1-3% of tickets t

Nc Express Jumpin' Hits
I just noticed on one of my advanced P3 play tickets that: Carolina Cash 5 $100k Days are back Jackpots start at $100,000 Limited time July 1-31 Had not paid attention before--the most I've ever won on p5, was matched 4 numbers way back when for $264. Think that I'll give it a shot instead of p4, since I rarely play mega, power, or cash5.

State bills to allow anonymous winners
The people with plans for claiming imaginary jackpots anonymously probably never had a W2-G. Because if they had, they would know the clerk validating their ticket saw their drivers license with full name and address along with their SS number. And there is that pesky Freedom of Information Act too. Oh and in some states winners over $600 must sign and have notarized they owe no child support or back taxes. Maybe they think anonymity means nobody will know how much they won including the IRS
