very low win rate on scratch offs lately does location matter?
I had to let scratchers go. Or at least, not pin great hopes on them. The odds that a 3 digit daily number hits straight is 999 to one. The balls are bubbling in the air, and can fall anywhere. Every one has a equal shot. The odds that out of the 6 million or so scratcher tickets printed and distributed through the state is going to yield a good hit on the ticket that you happen to pick up in the few stores you frequent is so high, is not measurable. NJ's website lets you keep a running check on

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
This right here is a reason to stop playing old scratchoff games/scarce games with a low amount of prizes remaining, or a scarce number of tickets relative to jackpots remaining. That's outrageous information to hear. I also hear that FL Lottery has located 10 books of the 2MJ game, but is unwilling to release it to high traffic retailers since 2MJ is on the ending games list . This is game manipulation at it's finest, and another reason why FL Lottery as an organization needs more accountabilit

New Idaho Jackpot Game - Idaho Cash
My state has created a new jackpot game, Idaho Cash . I am just now hearing about it, and tickets can be purchased starting tomorrow. So I'm looking it over, the pros and cons and making comparisons. On the positive side it's great that it's set at 2 plays for a mere dollar, but the number line stretches from 1-45. And since there is no bonus ball the prizes are pretty low: Jackpot starting at 20 thousand; 4-out-of-5 = $200; 3-out-of-5 = only $5; and 2-out-of-5 a free ticket. If they wante

Buy In Bulk Or Buy A couple?
It should be obvious if you consider what can happen if you buy 1000 pick 3 tickets. You can buy all 1000 possibilities for a single game and you'll have a 100% chance of winning. Play 500 for each of two drawings and there's a 25% chance you'll lose both times, but there's also a 25% chance you'll win both times. Buy 1 ticket for each of 1000 drawings and there's a 36.79% chance you'll lose every time, but you've got almost a 1 in 5 chance of winning twice and a 1 in 16 chance of winning 3 time

I'm pretty confident they gave the correct information on the $20 Monopoly Millionaire game because I remember them posting the final $3M prize winning ticket on Instagram. Here's the picture that they posted: The $20 Monopoly Millionaire ticket is indeed in the 693k book range, 50k lower than the end of the print. You bring up a good point that this book could have been withheld until the very end. There was also a second place prize of $500k that went unclaimed on the game aft

so i bought the first 8 tickets from a book of $20 100x the money here in IL.
I personally would only buy a book of tickets with a purpose. Generally speaking, buying entire books is a fast way to lose money. I've bought probably over 100 books of scratchoff tickets, and I'd say 60-70 were minimum payouts ($205-$245/$600) here in Florida. The only time I'd recommend buying books if if a game has one, or multiple jackpots remaining and is toward the end of it's life and is down to the last 1-3% of tickets remaining. When you buy books of tickets, unless you hit somethi

Does The Location Effect Chances Of winning?
Winning scratch tickets are randomly sent to stores. Finding one is pure luck. However, the prizes are staggered throughout the entire print-run of a game. Some scratcher games are on the market for two years, so the lottery commission doesn't want people claiming all of the big prizes in the first few weeks of the game. I recommend that you read the Philadelphia Inquirer's article on Joan Ginther. She won three scratch jackpots, $2 million, $3 million, $10 million in tiny Bishop, TX (popu

Best Games To Play For Texas?
Figure out what amount of money you would like to win and play the games with the best odds. If the odds aren't easy to find on the state's website, just google the name of the game and odds . I was surprised to see that compared to multi-state lotteries and some state lotteries, Powerball has better odds for prizes in the $50,000 to $1 million range (or $100,000 to $2 million with Power Play). Of course you have to take into account the price of the ticket. Also see how often the games wi

Significant changes regarding Scratch off tickets needed within the Florida Lottery.
I appreciate you sharing your insight with us all. I can imagine how frustrating the 100X chase must have been for players, and I agree with you wholeheartedly that the FL Lottery needs to change many of their practices. There's no reason why they should be manually updating websites, and why they use such an archaic system for these things. There's no reasons they should be able to destroy tickets, books, and then ignore any type of question or interaction from players who are concerned about h

True, typo. I meant $245/$600 for Super millions. I know it differs based on price point and game. Still, these books are the best way to persuade people to stop scratching with how much these books suck. Then again I do realize that these books need to be a regular occurrence in order to pay for the top prizes. It seems the only way to find a profitable book is to hit bigger wins like $500+ or hit multiple $100s. I know you said you've only seen one profitable book after 25. I think I'm a
