Michigan's Classic Lotto 47
Well we finally have hit the $7,000,000 jackpot for the first time since Michigan started this game. Previous record was about $6.8 million I believe. I think they really need to change this game. I mean look at all the other states that start their games at around the amount we are up to now, and this has been growing for months. I hope this reaches up to like 10 million just to see if sales will increase, because this game needs help. Brad

Sharing Winning Lottery System........
On-line betting would be the first to notice a winng system. They pay 9-1 and would feel the trend first. They would drop their payout odds. If their payouts continue to increase, they would drop the game. They are in it only for the money. If you play only state odds you are being robbed anyway. EZ

Do Playing Quick Picks Ever Work??
You only increase your odds if you wheel the right numbers though. Usually they are the wrong numbers. Quickpicks are fine. The odds are really the same especially for games that don't have a two set system like standard 6/49 games.

gas prices and the lottery--a poll
I never really thought about that since there's a place on every block here that sells lottery tickets. I suppose if you're talking about getting PB, MM or other lottery tickets not sold where you live, it makes sense. Even when gas was much less, I didn't do it because driving to GA from South Florida would be around 375 miles each way and about 600 to AL. Last year I thought of driving to GA to buy MM tickets, but I realized that if I was going to blow the money, it makes more sense to just b

Bonus ball bounced by Lotto Texas
Texas has talked about adding Pick 4 for a long time - but there was consensus within the lotttery (misguided, in my opinion) that offering Pick 4 (and thereby adding another game) would constitute an expansion of gaming . TX has by far the most successful Pick 3 game west of the Mississippi - they could probably pick up an incremental 6 cents weekly per cap. Nice thing about daily numbers games, they tend to increase with very little advertising just above the rate of inflation - the

WOW ! winning jackpot system at last!
I think that one of the most difficult things about the Winning Numbers History is not only that the simulation may predict a sum value moving one direction and the actual drawing is in the other direction but, when the prediction is correct, say an increase in the sim value but the actual drawing the sum value moves up 25 to 50 or more, it's not easy to cover that. Example using the Ohio Rolling Cash 5 for the 04/15 drawing: The sum value in column -10 is 3428, the simulation predicts a decr

Powerball Back-to-Back Jackpots Set Record
NCPicks, your point is well taken. As is the money taken in from the lottery. Its a choice to play, but it can also be within reasonable statistics as well. Increasing the odds is NOT causing the increase in players or funds. Its the fact that the economy is such that the average citizen can only dream of making ends meet by hitting some decent payouts. Which are few and far between. The bottom line is, the PB spokespersons are misleading the public and in the process gaining more revenue by dec
