Powerball at $340,000,000!!
There is a rule that if Powerball reaches a new record, for every drawing, the jackpot cannot increase by more than $25 million per drawing. The previous record was $315 million, so for next drawing, the annuity jackpot cannot be higher than $340 million - if it is not hit Wednesday, Saturday's jackpot cannot be higher than $365 million, and so forth. The extra money that goes to the jackpot rolls down to the match 5+0 winners, and that accumulates until the record jackpot is won, on which d

Ohio players - Lot'O Play
Well, we found out a few things on this new Lot' O Play drawing for Ohio.1. The jackpot does not increase very much. It only increased by the minimum of $100,000.2. The numbers are drawn from a hopper and not a computerized drawing.3. The jackpot will be divided by the number of 5 of 5 winners? Not giving much out for a $2 wager if multiple winners.4. The Rolling Cash Five rolls over better for the odds of winning a jackpot.5. It seems like this game is targeted to attract the lower prize

An idea for Fantasy (Pick) 5 Players
If and when I post, it will show up in the predictions page. The system I use is relatively easy and most of the time, I don't do a number work-out until I get to the store to purchase the tickets. Keep in mind to adjust the final numbers AFTER you did all your math. Otherwise, you may just get confused. Additionally, if you have a starting number of 1, let the result be 39, not 38 or an ending number of 39, let the result be 1 (not zero).Additionally, if you do a up/down/up/down/up and vice-ver

Lottery odds are not as bad as you think
Any lottery has odds that are far worse than you think. Try playing roulette and see how often you win. Odds are only 1:37. Pick 3 is very difficult to win playing straight on one number. Odds 1:1000. It only gets worse from there. Odds are much better getting hit by lightning and at least if that was you goal you can just wave a large iron wire around on a golf course during a thunderstorm to increase your odds. Getting better odds from a lottery is just an excercise in futility.

MegaPlier and Mega Millions
I still don't understand why the MM states (besides TX) haven't added this option yet. It confuses me. With the MegaPlier the states get a huge percentage of profits well over the 50% rate they get on most other games. Not only that, jackpots would run longer with that option. When I was in Wisconsin I played 5 tickets each with the PowerPlay option instead of otherwise buying 10 tickets. I could see the states caring about losing those tickets sales but you will make them up with their ext

How high will Powerball get this run?
Oh, I get it. They don't slow the growth of the record until it actually breaks the record, so if it's at $315 million, it can freely increase to over $400 million. However, for it to get to $400 million, if the rolls are like the last MM run that made it to $250 million, I would say it would need five more rolls. Sept 28 - $148 M Oct 1 - $171 M Oct 5 - $200 M Oct 8 - $250 M (the last MM jackpot hit) Oct 12 - $315 M (lottoreport.com predicted?) Oct 15 - $400 M? On the other hand, the PB an

Keno System that really works
There is truth to some things alNafa is saying. I just oppose to alNafa selling it, considering the amount of money that was made to support living without working anymore. Here's the truth part. A few years ago I bought a horse racing guide that claimed no big wins, but had a 2 to 5 year retirement plan. With an 80% hit rate, one could exponentially increase their, little tiny wins, of 10%, and within 2 to 5 years, they would retire. He made it clear, that patience was the key. I personally don'

MM's Predicted Sales
On Tuesday's jackpot they estimated an $123,000,000 cash option. After sales it actually was $127,676,752. So sales beat the forecasts. For Friday's jackpot they are estimating a $153,374,250 cash option. An increase of $25,697,498. That means they are expecting to sell $80,809,742 worth of tickets. They low ball the jackpot all the time so probably expect around 85 to 90 million in ticket sales. That number is only half the amount of total number combos out there so there is a one in two cha

An Interesting Challenge
How about you tell us what you would do with an extra 10% in the prize pool, how about everyone does that. As for just6's request, I think I can do that now. The California Lottery, with bigger payouts.CA Super Lotto +Change the Avg. Mega Only Match prize to $3, and the 1+Mega prize to $4. And allocate 4% of sales to the Match 5+0 prize (up from 1.5%) to an avg. prize of $63,000.Fantasy 5Change Minimum Jackpot to $100,000 (with avg. roll of $70,000), and add $1 avg. cash prize for matching 2 num

Dont understand
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out to understand. I have been trying to figuire out how different software works and how the filters, wheeling systems and stuff like that works. I had downloaded the following to my computer: lotto pro, lotto hat, lottobuster 2010 and in each one I have read for days and still dont understand the wheeling system and how you pick numbers from it. I am really only interested in playing games such as NJpick 3, 4, 5 and 6. I am not really all that i
