Long-time Kentucky lottery player wins $25,000 a year for life Lucky for Life prize
His dedication extends all the way back to when sales first began for Lucky for Life on March 22, 2015. He consistently plays the same two sets of numbers
Notes : On July 19, 2021 Lucky for Life changed from a twice-weekly game (Mon., Thu.) to daily drawings, and the drawings were changed from traditional lottery ball drawings conducted by the Connecticut Lottery to computerized drawings conducted by MUSL in Iowa.
Maybe not, but considering how much he's spent over the years at $2 each

Quickpicks Powerball: Lottery Post vs Terminal
I just finished another study of Lottery Post vs Terminal quick picks. Similar to my Louisiana Lotto study, over the course of 20 drawings, I played a terminal quick pick and a Lottery Post quick pick side by side to see what the results would be. One thing that made this study different was I was actually watching 2 sets of numbers, the five white balls and the red Powerball. Here are the results of my study.
The average number of white balls matched per drawing was 0.2 for Lottery Post and

Wisconsin Lottery starts midday drawings
Later evening draw times for Pick 3, Pick 4
By Todd Northrop
Wisconsin Lottery fans now have more opportunities to win big, with three of its games now drawing twice per day.
The state's Pick 3, Pick 4, and All or Nothing games will all receive new midday drawings, in addition to their current evening drawings. This brings Wisconsin games in line with most other state lotteries that already offer multiple daily drawings of popular games.
Now the only remaining states without midday d

Post Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich Q&A Poll.
This is a copy of the Q A:
Terry
Hi, Terry Rich here. I'm CEO of the Iowa Lottery and past president of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries. Glad to answer the lottery questions you have. Know that all opinions are mine, not those of the state of Iowa, any lottery organization or any other state lottery. We appreciate all lottery players' opinions and look forward to a fun discussion.

MUSL security worker who rigged drawing gets 10 years
Weren't computer drawings already rigged several years ago in Tennessee? They got away with it for a good while,
they being the Tennessee lottery. There is no telling how long or how many times, computerized drawings have been
rigged. We would only know about it when someone gets caught AND it's made public, because they are always saying
it can't be rigged due to the security measures blah, blah, blah. And the last thing they want is for it to become known
that they can

N.J. Lottery to end live broadcast of midday drawing
Right!
It's the same line of false reasoning that justifies lotteries moving to computerized drawings.
Anyone who does serious financial modeling knows that stuff like this is not a simple add-and-subtract exercise. Changes have rippling repercussions, and the failure to acknowledge and account for that is highly misleading.
The TV station (NJN) said that 2 million people watch the live drawings. Does the lottery seriously think that 2 million people will all have the same exact re

Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
The other thing to keep in mind is that noticably absent is that she does not blame the economy .
Why?
Because almost every other state lottery is booming right now, with many having record years. The poor economy actually helps lotteries, but for some reason only Tennessee is particularly bothered by Powerball .
I hope the governor and legislators and lottery board are all asking hard questions and demanding adequate responses.
WHY doesn't she spark sales by switching to real drawin

Florida - 07/01 thru 07/31/2008
Exactly what ways could the state creatively devise? About all I can come up with is computerized drawings. As you may not realize, Florida is already on 6 ball sets.
Now, I may not be entirely right, but I believe Jersey switched over some time back as well. Raven62 seems to be pretty dead on there as well, so, whatever system he uses, or whatever he does to get his picks, just plain works for 6 ball sets and there is not a hell of alot that can be done about that.
Not only that, but you

Arizona Lottery pulls second computerized drawing machine over duplicate numbers
Lottery will TEMPORARILY switch to real ball drawings while new computerized drawing machines are prepared
By Todd Northrop
The Arizona Lottery has taken a second computerized lottery drawing machine out of operation because it repeatedly chose duplicate numbers.
Just last month the Arizona Lottery took its first computerized drawing machine out of service for the same problem. (See Arizona Lottery computerized drawing machine generated identical winning numbers, Lottery Post, Oct. 6, 2

Convicted computerized drawing fraudster argues Iowa court appeal
The attorney for a former lottery official accused of fixing jackpots in several states argued Thursday that his client's conviction last year on fraud charges should be thrown out.
Eddie Tipton, the former Multi-State Lottery Association computer security director, appealed his July 2015 convictions related to fixing an Iowa Hot Lotto game in 2010, which resulted in a 10-year prison sentence. He is free on bond during the appeal.
Tipton's attorney, Dean Stowers, told a three-judge Iowa Co
