mathematics of re-playing small wins
I did my analysis on scratch-off tickets because most of the prize money goes towards lower prizes. With jackpot accumulation draw games such as Powerball, not much goes to lower prizes. To summarize my first post, for the $5 Colorado scratch-off $100,000 Super Bonus, the average number of tickets played is 2.5x or 3x your original bankroll, depending on whether your stop point is $500 or $1,000. Not surprisingly, the improved odds of winning a large prize exactly correlate with the average

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
BUY LOW ! Good to see you back on here again - nice $1K claimer - just one scratch :) Congrats - that wasn't a $50 ticket was it ? I was told if you choose to mail it for redemption it now has to go to Tallahassee and they take 4 to 6 weeks to process it ...... No more mail it to a District office that has a one or two day turn around .... seems like FlLot is coming out with overpriced junky scratch offs and making it harder for we players to get our money .... not good CAPE - nice job getti

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Hello ZZ ! Been a while since you posted and congrats on the wins ! Hope your dog is sleeping better with the new bed I've run across the same situation with winning tickets - we cashed so many checks today you'll have to come back later - and many other reasons they don't have the cash for your win(s) ...... when I get lucky and have a wad to cash I call the service desk at the Publix I always go to - I know the clerks by name and they know me - I say I have 2300 worth of wins, can you cas

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Thanks for the info. It was just my curiosity (and not judgment) about your pool compared to what I am doing (and my plan for a Pool) and nothing more. I read in an earlier post and understand that your organizer had a formula for each member to get 1 Mil on a big win. I think that is a good plan and sounds like it will not cost a fortune to execute. What I am doing *sounds* a bit rich but it really isn't. Since the end of March when PB MM were won back to back and reset to their minimum

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Sounds like your pool is hitting, but just not the big numbers yet. Just out of curiosity, and *only* if you wish to say, how many folks are playing in your pool(s) now and what kind of money are you playing with each draw now? Again, only if you wish to say. I am still in savings mode while waiting for the rollovers to make a really big cash value amount before I commit to a big purchase (or be committed!) . As of the week ending yesterday 07/26/2025 I have 86 draws skipped and $321.00 save

This number picking game is so fun
What's going to happen when you continuously keep losing? Will you still have that same mindset? It's nice to dream of winning but nobody likes losing money day in, day out without a substantial win to cover your losses now and then. Eventually you'll run out of play money since you're not employed anywhere. I wish you the best of luck in your charitable endeavors, And hope ya hit the big one Just remember though, the main point is to have fun picking numbers and st

N.C. woman takes $8 million lottery prize as $400,000 a year annuity
A North Carolina woman tried her luck on a $50 scratch-off and won the $8 million top prize that she will collect in $400,000 annual payments for 20 years. Latonya Rayford of Charlotte bought her lucky $8 Million Money Maker ticket from the BP Food Mart on West Sugar Creek Road in Charlotte. When Rayford arrived at lottery headquarters Monday to collect her winnings, she had a decision to make. She could choose to receive her prize as an annuity of $400,000 a year over 20 years or a lump

LOTTERY POST 25TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY #2
If it was a large sum of money. ( IF ...small word with a big meaning) First I would find a financial adviser on how to distribute some of it to both of our families and close friends. Then invest enough of it. Which would give us a yearly income to last both our life times and more. If there is any left over ______ (Fill in the blank) It just would be nice not having to worry about the basic money problems. I can dream, can't I and I might as well dream big.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I might or might not have won anything actually playing 1 ticket for each drawing. I do not know, you do not know, nobody really knows. It is a game of chance. ! GRIN ! One of the tickets from my planned big purchase could hit the monster jackpot simply because I bought more than one ticket in that purchase. Who knows...? Certainly not me, but I am having fun right now while saving money for the moonshot. But according to my past purchase pattern I have been right so far. In fact, when I was
