Sun - Moon Excel Chart
AliceYes for 9/12/05 you would be looking at VIR - CAP. I look at the numbers 6 ways. Separate , Merged Midday and Evening , Converted to Vtrac separate, and merged vtrac Midday and Evening. I also look at all the Sun - Moon signs for the Week , as some numbers move from Sign to sign , or drift backwards. You have VIR - AQU and VIR - PIS. this week. Everyone looks at charts differently, and see s different things. So if you see something let me know. You may also see a steady increase by one dig

Gap?
FROM PREVIOUS POSTType of gaps: Gaps between numbers within each combinations range of gaps =1 to 43, 50% of them = 7,1,5,2,9,10 Gaps between drawings that numbers were drawn range = 1 to 53 drawings, 50% of them = 6,7,3,1,4,9In both cases the majority of the numbers were 10 or lower but only covered half the numbers in the combinations which leads me to think that using such a parameter might increase your chances of matching 3 of the numbers but not matching all 5. _

What are the Chances in pick 3
Lottaloot, Chances are the same each draw for each position, you have 1 chance in 10 for any digit to be drawn in position 1, position 2 and position 3. Probabilities are a different story. If a single digit has not been drawn in any position in 10 draws , then each draw after 10 the probability of that digit coming will increase. In a negative expectation game, such as lotto, then I think (IMHO) the gamble should always be given to the best probability of an event. There are several of su

An Interesting Challenge
We all know about Florida's new law requiring at least 60% payouts on all games. And I got to thinking, what if other states did the same thing? So I'm going to start a series on what I'd do to certain state's games if they had to raise their payouts to 60%. Let's start with my place of residence, Pennsylvania. Keep in mind I'm just increasing payouts. The games other facets will remain the same.Match 6Put the extra 10% in the jackpot. That would increase the avg. roll to $200,000 instead of $10

Powerball lottery jackpot jumps to $32 million
Someone mentioned on one of the other threads that they've changed the lump sum calculation as a result of the extended annuity..... if the poster was correct the actual pre-tax lump sum prize will decrease as compared to the annuity prize, which might actually render the entire process of changing the matrix a meaningless thrust.A lower lump sum jackpot with higher claims on the billboards for the pre-interest-accumulation dollars from ticket sales probably wasn't what players who favored the e

Ohio Lottery planning end for Super Lotto game
Ohio has constantly improved their SuperLotto game by making it worst. First is was two plays per dollar, starting jackpots of $4M, minimum rolls of $4M and 3of6 paid $3. Then they added some numbers and changed it to $1 per play. Then they limited the amount one ticket could win to $20M when they had bigger jackpots advertised. People started to play less so they added the bonus ball, got rid of the limit that one ticket could win, offered a free QP for a 3of6 win and got rid of minimum $4M

Texas Lottery May Eliminate Lotto Bonus Number
I might sometimes play the Texas Lotto if they take the bonus ball out and make it a 6/49 or 6/50 game, but not if it is higher than 6/50 like 6/51, 6/52 or something else, a no bonus ball pick 6 with no more than 50 ball is all that I would ever play, if it is 6/50 I would sometimes play, if it is 6/49 then I would play more often.I have not played the Texas Lotto at all for a very long long time, since it was changed from a 6/50 game whenever that was.Give us a no bonus ball pick 6 with 49 bal

All multi-state lotto games
I agree with what you said Rip Snorter. I think there are lots of PB and MM players and fewer CA SLP Players. I think most people in PB should stop playing PB when a jackpot should hit. The smaller the jackpot and the more winners PB creates, the less people play PB which generate fewer sales. I would suggest to PB is to increase the red balls to compete with MM. If the blue game does come with lots of bonus balls, I think they'll compete with MM and PB has no chance to get that 363+ million.

New Mexico Lottery still looking for $93 million Powerball winner
I have to agree with you Todd. Before the whole Cash-Option choice came about all prizes paid were annuitized over so many years. So the jackpot was worth the cash value plus all the interest. This is what lotteries have been doing for the life of them. There is nothing wrong with this. Acutally I don't see why lotteries invest the money for annuities in such low interest bearing bonds. They us a ~1.6% right now when you can get government securites that average over 4%. Now that would in

Even with revenue deal, start of N.C. lottery no sure bet
House and Senate Democrats have agreed how to distribute lottery proceeds, but it's hardly a sure bet that North Carolina will become the last state on the East Coast to run a numbers game this year. The agreement, details of which were released late Monday with the final proposed $17.2 billion state budget for the coming year, includes a looser advertising policy than one approved by the House in April.Even if both chambers approve the budget later this week, the lottery language won't enact the
