TN LOTTERY-hot lotto or lotto south?
The 5-ball game in Virginia permits 25- and 50-cent plays as well as the 1-dollar so long as you buy tickets in whole dollar amounts. It's more conducive to using wheels.I'm not in favor of lengthening the odds (changing the wheel) on Lotto South and Hot Lotto. Maybe what they need to do is to change the lotto ticket to allow for players to mark whether they're playing for the jackpot only or the secondary prizes plus the jackpot. I would bet that if they did this, they could increase the sec

Texas Lottery chief admits jackpots were inflated
Todd,I understand what you are trying to convey with your factual message but the target of your message either does not get it or refuses to alter their behavior.Look at all the current News threads - 99% have the last reply by one of two members. Collectively the two members have contributed very little to the discussions. I believe their motivation is two-fold. One, see their name appear as many times as possible on certain pages and, two, increase their post count. As a user of your message

170 million for Friday
Certainly this run has the potential to break 300, but after 200 (or even after 100), it seems that people who normally do not play will play at least a $1 just for the chance. But, maybe the long odds will help offset the increase in players so that the JP keeps rolling. I would like to see it break 300 and someone win a single JP (especially if that someone is me), but I do not know if I would want the publicity of breaking the record, especially since you cannot be in an anonymous trust in C

Jackpots
I would like for the states to offer a flexible annuity plan with several choices. Maybe offer all cash or annuities with 10, 15 or 20 years payout and an option of taking 50% both ways. When it comes to a $25M+ annuity, I would feel more comfortable with the State because it's backed by the tax payers. Recently Ohio lost more than $250M of the state worker retirement funds by allowing political friends to handle the money, but the workers will still get their money even if the state has to

If CT drops Powerball
The Multi-State lotteries are falling victim to the same economic dynamic that befalls any company. Consider a restaurant, for example. The business starts out doing well until it cuts portions, compromises quality and raises prices. Eventually the customers leave. The lotteries depend on revenues to the point where increased spending by idiotic politicians pimping for votes forces them to increase revenues to the point where they have to fudge and swindle to keep participation up. In the que

NY Lottery... look in here
Playing a mere $1 for a $46 million 6/59 game doesn't make sense to me. NY Lotto players should start pulling out the stops until it's hit.I agree with JS9 about the prize percentage problem: it is the legislature. However, the NY Lottery, being a political organization of sorts, could lobby strongly to increase the prize pool, and I don't get the feeling that they do. From the customer service responses I've seen, they bend over backwards to justify their situation, rather than to sympathize

Midday Key Numbers for 7/9/05
Until 3 days ago I had never done this before either. What I like about it is the fact it is so forgiving. You can hit once and either miss 3 other states or miss the same state 3 times before you get back into your own money. It has really increase my bankroll over the last few days. Looks like a method I make stick with for a while. Good Luck on the P4. I thought about that the other day and decided to stick with the P3 for a little bit and see if I can tweak it...Good Luck All,Bryan :)

Powerball lottery creator patents new games
I looked up the patents he applied for. The first is for what we know as The Blue Game , as in the player picks only one number from the second pool, while the lottery picks two or more. That's the first patent. The second patent also includes the game aforementioned, plus an interesting pari-mutuel prize system. A reserve fund is taken out, and it's used to increase the the lower prize levels in a state or country that has sold a jackpot winner. For example, if Pennsylvania sells a jackpot win

Union Jack Pick 3 Method
Everyone go on vacation? Figured this thread would get a few more posts. Well for whatever reason, this method sure seems to have the hits contained within EVERY week thus far.Does anyone with some EXCEL experience know if you can obtain a sum and then drop the tens place digit in an equation? This would allow me to develop two equations (one for Regular and one for irregular) that I could plug in the week's base figures and obtain the numbers I'm looking for. Thanks,And thank you John(Atomic
