Yeah, nobody likes C4L...
I think it's that 2 dollars per line BS that's the reason why people don't play it. It's too expensive.
Cash 4Life has the same problem Sweet Million had, namely a coverage problem . The NY Lottery has to sell a hefty percentage of all of the total possible combinations of numbers to produce a JP winner. But they don't sell enough tickets to cover that many combo's, so you don't see any JP winners or even 2nd place winners.
Coverage is why PB and MM jackpots ro

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Thanks again for the info. Lotto Metro.
Everyone here with a system or believes that there can be a system for a 5 + 1 game needs to make this their mantra:
MUSL projects that the change will result in an increase to revenues of more than 40% versus current trends. They also expect average hit jackpots to be just over $300 million with 10-11 hits per year
Silver Lion,
If everyone on LP boycotted PB do you really think the MUSL would feel it?

Unclaimed winning tickets
Dec 2012
More than 1.4 billion of
More than 1.4 billion of National Lottery winnings have gone unclaimed since the game began 18 years ago, new figures revealed.
Lotto players are letting huge jackpots slip through their fingers at an average rate of 75 million every year.
The figures emerged just days after the largest-ever unclaimed prize of 63,837,543,60 from a winning EuroMillions ticket went to good causes.

Winning Keno Systems or Strategies? What works for you?
Thanks for the message and yes I lose messages and posts but I just blame my tired self leaning on the wrong key from time to time.
As to winning at Keno, I have had my fair share of luck. I learned from the Mitchell method in Just Jackpots - A game changer for the keno player and follow the method to today. I have read other keno books but they seem to be just statistics and not really a method. I do think there is a lot of wisdom out there and forums are a good place to share.

Taxes and Casino Wins
Players, casinos, allies blitz Revenuers on proposed tax grab reporting rule
The casino industry and its allies on Capitol Hill have mounted a late push to persuade the Internal Revenue Service to back away from a proposal that would require winners of $600 jackpots to be reported to the tax man.

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
It's a bit counterintuitive, but more players for MM probably reduces the chance of jackpots growing ever larger.
More players = more tickets sold for each drawing = higher chance of a winner in any given drawing = fewer expected rollovers before someone wins.
On the other hand,
More tickets sold = more money goes into prize pool = larger jackpot increase per rollover.
I haven't done any rigorous calculations, but I'm pretty sure the first factor outweighs the second.

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
they are not improving the prize value of the lower prizes but merely improving the odds of winning them...without harming the amount of sales or capacity for size available for large jackpots.
There's no free lunch. Anything that improves the lower tier prizes, whether it's better odds or increased prize value, comes from harming the jackpot. Whether it's slower growth or worse odds, the jackpot becomes less valuable as the lower tier prizes become more valuable.
I might tell myself, $

Substitution Works - Mega Balls
According to reports, Texans are buying lottery products at record levels, especially the scratch offs.
Cash 5/37 is a joke with jackpots less than $20,000 but folks keep playing it.
There are indications that the jackpot games are not growing. Players have no doubt decided that Mega and Powerball are 'predatory' games that
should be avoided. Amen to that.
The politicians who voted to cancel the lottery two years ago are deadly silent this year.

Law of Abundance or the Moon check phenomenon
I will gladly tell you the story. I just read a Keno book called Just Jackpots and that is why I was talking to the lady about the casino run.
She mentioned the Law of Abundance....so I decided to go. 23 is a lucky number for me (I play my mom's month, day and year of birth) so I have always played 23. Side note...I went to Vegas and stopped at Whiskey Pete's (small casino on the way to the main strip) and never, NEVER played roulette before. Not knowing what to do I dumped a pile of chi

Eurojackpot at record 90mil€ /101mil$ CAPPED
Well, after almost 3 years of this game existing it has broken its' previous record of 75mil and is now at 90mil . Any wagers for next friday that would be added to the jackpot will now be added to the second win class, where there'll be a 3mil jackpot.
Odds of hitting the jackpot are 1:95000000, odds of the second jackpot are 1:6000000.
In most countries the winnings are tax free, only capital gains are taxed. No winner is forced to take on publicity, in fact I think no one ever has.
