New multi-state lottery game launches Sunday
The maximum of 16 $1 million prizes is based on balancing the draw of offering a lot of $1 million prizes with the requirement to fund them.
There is no maximum on the number of $1 million prizes. Haven't you read the press releases touting the possibility of hundreds of millionaires in a single drawing ? My info comes direct from the lottery's internal sources (MUSL). Or am I misunderstanding you? Once the jackpot is maxed out, the prize pool shifts exclusively to $1 million prizes. There IS

I wonder what kind of math scores you got in school. You played the lottery back 35 years ago
and only became enlightened a few years back. If a person thinks so highly of his newly found
text book knowledge that he's no longer willing to stoop to system play then I would fault your
early education which seems to have been far inferior to your current standards. I guess you
will fault the lottery for your lack of early knowledge.
Anyone that does not know how hard it i

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
From what I heard, becoming a retailer requires having a good amount of upfront funds to reap the benefits over time.
They intake 6% from each dollar of all lottery products they sell, not too big of a profit margin unless it is a $10 or $20 scratcher. Retailers buy rolls of scratchers at 6% off and they have to send 94 cents for each dollar sold on a draw game.
They get reimbursed 1% for the amount they cash out that is under the taxable value of $600. It comes at a cost of $24 a week.

What state will win the powerball jackpot?
so 8.3% instead of 12% then. That just proves my point even more. It's actually 4 CA winners this year and not 6.
http://www.powerball.com/powerball/pb_stories.asp
So CA won 4 drawings out of a possible 72. That's 5.5%.
The conspiracy theories are getting out of hand. California does not win a disproportionate amount of jackpots based on the number of tickets bought by Californians. Why do I even care? We all know what will come of this, conspiracy theorists will boycott Powerball unti

Should we boycott Mega Millions?
There haven't been any big winners in a long time.
Since September 1 last year there have been 5 jackpots hit for between 1 and 2 million
1 jackpot hit for about 3 million and
1 jackpot hit for about 5 million.
So if you want to save money don't play until JP is over 3 Million

Should we boycott Mega Millions?
The odds a state has of winning means nothing, though. It's a very vague indicator of what state spends more on that game. And I say vague, because even though some states spend more, that's not all it takes to win. Because the lottery draws balls at random and it only takes a dollar to win, more money doesn't always mean more wins, which would give a pretty large +/- on whatever odds a state was given.
The ONLY thing that matters is that there are 258,890,850 combinations that can be drawn.

Now that MM has reset to $15M OCL is looking good again
I don't measure by the size of the jackpots.
A good lottery game should cost less than 1 dollar, 25 or 50 cents maybe.
It should not be taxed and a maximum after costs should be paid out.
Low rank prices should pay.
A pick 6 shouldn't be bigger than with 40 numbers to my opinion.

Use Dr.Miracle's System to Win Big
And it looks like you're being criticized again.
You and I both know the majority of these so called systems are just another way to create random three and four digit numbers, but than again a case can be made that all lottery systems are nothing more than a simple RNG. Many people make a nice living selling systems while others make money by selling numbers. I read where lots of people won multi-million jackpots using a Gail Howard system, but never read or heard of anyone winning by using

Cash 4Life
Gotta wonder a little bit about C4L....
There have been five 1st place winners and two second place winners since June when the game began.
None of the winners have been sold in New Jersey. That surprises me a little as I would think that with the number of people living in NJ, so close to The NY City Metro area, one of the winners would have been sold in New Jersey. So are those 1st place wins just because the game is new and people are playing it? Will we see a game evolve that is like S
