I agree. I don't wager based on Jackpots. It's the odds. I'd wager the same amount on a Billion Dollar Jackpot as I do on the Starting Jackpot. Based on the odds. Since a bigger Jackpot doesn't make it any more likely for me to win, why would I bet more?

I'd still play one line. I used to play two. And if they went to two bucks, I'd probably stop playing it. I'm one of the seemingly few who aren't mesmerized by humongous jackpots. I prefer having a lot better chance at a lot less money. But I'll still take a shot in the dark at it for a buck (actually $2 with the megaplier). But no more than that.

rdgrnr, I agree with your post totally. The politicians are going after uninformed voters and the lotteries are going after uninformed players. For the lottery directors than know about LP, they probably see it as one of their biggest threats. Just my $.02 but those runninng MM are taking the greed factor to the nth degree, knowing the 75 number matrix will make jackpots very rare and trying to build it to the first $1 Billion jackpot, rubbing their palms together the whole time.

The last couple of generations of Americans entering the work force and voting booths have been demonstrably dumbed down from previous generations. MM is simply taking advantage of that fact. Most people in this country no longer know or care what's going on in the world. In any given situation, they just wanna know what's in it for them. And they have neither the ambition nor the attention span to investigate the odds of winning jackpots and all that. And MM knows it.

The ATL inside one is really hard to find. I was there in the last two weeks and had to ask someone who worked at the airport about it. There is a lottery terminal at the bar in a restaurant in Concourse E (farthest concourse from parking ticketing). I think it is called Journey's or Sojourners' or something. Its no different than a sport you Practice or game such as Poker...Strategy is Key! *Math/Logic allows you narrow down odds when playing any game!
