Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
well thanks for your insulting replies.1.yes you are taking wild guesses at what the sales figures are. sales have fluctuated allot lately at the 100 + million mark. even megamillions and powerball don't know them and have to guess on the conservative side they later will increase the jackpot based on tickets sold and whatever they can get an annuity at the time.2.where are these figures on rising pots and % of quickpick. i'll tell you where - in your head (or ass since they are assumptions) sin

Big game rules??
Some info from the old PlayBigGame.com Web site:The Lottery Directors of the original member states of Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and Virginia created The Big Game in 1996. Sales for the game began in the previously mentioned states on August 31, 1996. The first drawing took place on September 6, 1996.After successful growth of the game in 1997, a Tuesday drawing was added in February of 1998 and players were given a larger numbers matrix to choose from and a lump sum

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
i think your numbers are off.the sales in mega/powerball at the 170-180 level very between 45 at the low end and 75 at the high end. even at the half way point (60 mil) and assuming 10% are matching numbers (a number impossible to really guess since no one publishes this information) that would mean that about 40% of all combinations are covered and the probability of a roll-over is at 60%of course the smaller the sales or if there are less matching numbers the odds would increase for a rollover

How is it possible?
Definition and Concept are not different in this case because what you described was Handicapping not Gambling Handicapping is a method used in Gambling .The concept if you insist is playing games of chance so adding the money part would be the definition playing games of chance for money but there still basically the same. The reason I misunderstand what your saying is because it's HOGWASH anyway I suppose you play the PowerBall with Quick-Picksand since your in here fooling around i

How is it possible?
Quick-Picks are based on Luck and Random Odds if 10,000 or more players buy a quick-pick in the Play 4 there's gonna be winners but your ticket may not be one of them that's where luck plays it's part.I would rather make my own luck by selecting numbers myself, when I played quick-picks 10 yrs ago I NEVER won anything when I started using strategies and software I started winning. So if my winnings went from Nothing to Something how do you explain it? it's really common sense we're not saying that

How is it possible?
Since you have 43 numbers that won't be drawn all a skilled player needs to do is eliminate from the 49 say29 numbers which gives you 20,eliminating 31 numbers gives you 18 and eliminating 34 numbers gives you 15. The Process of Elimination doing analysis to see which numbers are least likely to be drawn. For you to just come out and say no one can win using systems and not many win if they do shows that you don't much about Lottery Numbers and how to play Intelligently. All the numbers will come

How is it possible?
FWUP first of all PREDICTING lottery numbers is for PSYCHICS and I don't recall any members being Psychic in here. And we all know Psychics can't even predict lottery numbers so why would we try? what the players are doing in here is called HANDICAPPING the game in order to bend the odds in there favor. It's done all the time in Casino,Horse Racing and Sports gambling in Lottery the goal is to select a GROUP of numbers in order to trap the winning numbers.Just selecting 6 numbers in the Lo

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
The powerball has rolled over on 2/7/04. Because of the $10,000,000 minimum on the previous draw, the sales do not actually reflect the size of the rollover, an increase of 3 million annuity dollars. The actual predicted sales for this drawing are probably around 11 million dollars, which would correspond to a 7 million dollar annuity jump under normal circumstances. This suggests that the probability for a rollover will be 92%. There is an 8% chance of one winner, a 0.4% chance of two wi

Sums in Pick-3 good or bad?
As a follow up it's now the next night in our quest to find the front pair Sum. It's nice to be able to have a live real world demo on this method. The sum tonight fell as expected ......HIGH Sum of #7 (52 ...5) It's true it could have gone another draw before it flipped ...although it would have been very improbable to bet it that way. It only happens 1 in 256 times . If it didn't flip to a high number Sum tonight the odds would have been 1 in 512 draws odds for tomorrow night. On the
