Boxed digits "Math Average Skip"
Lantern, just to add two-tenth of a cent, under ideal conditions you are right. If a new digit hits in each position for ten draws straight, then each digit would fall in each space in ten draws. In boxed form there are ten digits, for each of these digits to fall once requires 2.1 (just say 3 draws). Unfortunately, in the wild, or reality, outside factors come into play. Doubles - if 27% of the pool is doubles then roughly 3 out of every ten drawings will be doubles. Repeat digits -

New Powerball e-mail from the Missouri Lottery
As far as the matrix changoing or not, how are the odds going to go from 1 in 195 million to q in 175 million without a matrix change? Sorry I missed that point, looks like they will reduce the PowerBall pool to 35 and have a matrix of 5/59+1/35. Post Your Winning Tickets Here
Thank you so much dr65! Right now NJ has a promotion for a second chance drawing. If you enter $10 in losing instant tickets, you can win $250 and a chance to be entered into the final drawing for bigger prizes in January. There will be a relatively small pool of people in the final drawing...so if you can get in it, it's a nice chance at some bigger prizes. I haven't won yet. In October is the last chance for that. I need to input some of the losing tickets I have here for that.

how to handle this?
What they might tell you is that you are responsible for making sure what you ordered, is what you got. Check your tickets they say. Clerks are able to cancel out daily's and pick 4's, either they were lazy...didn't know how to or just didn't want to be bothered. If this is something they are telling everyone, that is wrong. Why should you have to pay for a clerks error? Most of them do things correctly but then you have the ones that are too busy to bother with more than what's on thei

Why Do Mathematicians Consider The Lottery Random
Boney, I meant to ask you this earlier. Serious question.... About 12 years ago I was sitting around with a bunch of 20 year old guys having a few beers when one of them, who acted just like you did, asked me a question. I knew the one who asked me the question for about 2 years. He thought that he knew everything and got pissed off when I corrected him on something. He said to me....you really think you're smart huh? And i replied by saying, no If I was smart I'd have at least 2 or 3 million

Help for my 6/49 game, from clever lottery post members
A time ago, I read a method of someone who was playing only the numbers with last equal digit those of the last drawing. That's fairly easy to check. Ohio Classic Lotto last 10 drawings: 08/13/11 - 03 09 11 28 32 36 - 1,2,3,6,8,9 08/10/11 - 05 16 19 26 27 39 - 5,6,7,9 08/08/11 - 05 07 18 20 25 33 - 0,3,5,7,8 08/06/11 - 02 12 22 36 44 46 - 2,4,6 08/03/11 - 08 13 14 15 33 42 - 2,3,4,5,8 08/01/11 - 07 15 21 46 47 49 - 1,5,6,7,9 07/30/11 - 03 06 09 10 23 49 - 0,3,

A Wheel Question...
The majority of your threads are you posting links to articles mostly from people that lottery players never heard of. From your poll, it looked like several people were interesting in backtesting systems using your simulation, but you failed to deliver. The best you could come up with was a semi structured raffle game and you gave no explanation of the total prize payoff. It looks like 1.65% of the players made a profit collecting about $5 million out of a total prize pool of $125 million an
