Oregon lottery kept my $1500 winning ticketReply
Look I'm not here to have you think that you know me enough to be advising me on what I should or shouldn't be doing. Not that I need to explain in anymore detail to you the situation but I play vp about 10 to 12 times per year. Yes $1500 would be very useful for my family as it would be for most families. But just for my own piece of mind I have never nor would I ever use money to gamble instead of using it for something my family needs. The oregon lottery is acting like I done something wrong

Pee-wee, I'm reading this and there's no guaranteed of no one's number. I used to feel the same way I didn't wanna post cause I didn't want no one to lose money but it's a gamble anyway you look at it no number is a wrong number. It just depends on what the state pulling because they don't go by triggers in things anymore. Nobody can tell the future, but a smart person doesn't blow all their money the minute it arrives. Same some for a rainy day. This guy could have bought a decent house with a five year mortgage. The interest rate is less, and more importantly, it would have been paid off five years ago, and he would have a place to live.

Paying for a ticket after it's determined to be a winner (in this case and the lottery club you mentioned) is not gambling. It's cheating. The ticket belongs to Circle K. By policy, they are required to buy the ticket when no one else does prior to the drawing. The money gets taken out of their lottery account the instant it is printed.

*The report said the owner of the ticket declined it, more like ( forgot ) it at the store. It's why Bank of America is now involved. * According to the article, the ticket was purchased using a debit card. Seems the purchase was legitimate and Circle K wants the money going to the original purchaser, just not Gawlitza.
