PeterAdvanced: You do know that Texas joined the Mega millions lottery after the legislature approved them to join a multi-state game. They had their chance to join Powerball but decided that Mega Millions was a better fit for Texas.

I do agree that Florida should go multi-state,but a lottery should never rely on multi-state games to boost its profits. CA joined the MUSL in hopes of an international lottery game, and that collapsed, and look at CA now.

Powerball doesn't...MUSL Powerball website under the FAQ section says that multi-state lottery employees are prohibited from playing any lottery game (even instant scratch ticket games) in any MUSL member state. I don't know any details about Megamillions policy.
