Your thoughts on Mega Millions Matrix Change?
Well maybe I'm not in my right mind but I'd buy the plier because I'm only buying one ticket and I want the max in the unlikely event that I win. I look at it the same way as playing a multi-coin progressive slot machine, I always play the max number of coins cuz I want the max payoff in the unlikely event that I win. Or compared to baseball, with one ticket I might not come up to bat much but if and when I connect, I wanna knock it out of the freakin' park with everybody on. I want the

Got my butt handed to me today. Might be time to stop for alittle. Pet peeve though. I was at Sheetz with the self serve. I got a Hot Millions and it was on 027. Figure I will end the roll. Well it went 027-028-000. Totally skipped 029. This also happened to me on Extreme Green and Double Shot. The last 2 tried to tear the ticket and you could hear it was empty, so the person filling it took the last ticket on all 3 rolls. However on the last 2, they didn't adjust the ticket count. Kinda has be

Where in the world is...
Whenever I see an interview with someone who won the lottery, I hear them say something like, My friend told me someone had won the jackpot down at the local gas station. I knew I bought a ticket there so I went and checked my tickets... They know in these small towns because of 'small town talk' after the machine in the store indicates a jackpot...It often seems to take some time before I start hearing which CITY a winning ticket was sold in even though we are made aware of which state the winn

When do you sign your name on your lottery tickets?
The ticket doesn't need a legal signature. You can print your name on it with butterscotch if you want to. What matters is identifying the ticket as yours. Your actual signature may be best, but even if it just says John Smith in machine lettering it will at least make it very difficult for anybody who isn't named John Smith to cash it. Assuming it has to be cashed at a claim center, that is. If it can be cashed at a retailer there's nothing to stop the retailer from simply making sure the ti

Pennsylvania: 3/1 - 3/31/2013
lol Nicki! I found that once, where an 'alien' ticket was in with mine from one of those machines. It didn't win either. I came upon a $1 balance in an instant vending machine...I wasn't going to leave it there for the next guy...I chose a $1 ticket and won $2 Double the free money. I was liking that 177/771 for a daily soon...something 1xx should be coming our way. Good luck today!

Clerks Are Not Always Knowledgable About Lottery
Totally agree. What ticks me off here in my neck of the woods when it comes to store clerks dealing with the lottery is a place called Ranch 99 -its owned by a Chinese outfit, Chinese food, Chinese everything. The Clerks manning the lottery machine are another topic altogether. l wanted to cash in a ticket for a $80.00 win, and this girl has the audacity to ask another clerk what the sales tax is on $80.00? l almost wanted to pull her by the ear and tell her Hey- there is NO Tax on lottery wins

Im 90% sure the clerks DONT play at that particular store. Now Publix on the other hand........ the hawk clerk will RUN from her register even if she is ringing someone up and grab the next ticket in row if she sees someone lose 4 or 5 straight times. She eyes that machine like a dog eyes steak dinner. I have complained and so have others, and im surprised she has not been fired yet. They did get rid of one clerk though, but she was using money from the customer service register to play. I di

Cheating Clerk?
Definitely report him. Customers should be responsible ( means to respond to situation), instead of letting things slide until someone is ripped off big time, and it might be you. there is always voice in your head when things aren't right. How he got $6 on a machine if it was $7? It's because he scanned different ticket, perhaps one he scammed another customer off. Then he could scan your not scanned $3.00 ticket for someone's $4 ticket, and so on. This way gradually he'd have an expensive tick
