ND to join Hot Lotto
Well CASH will be happy to read this. If you read the article about ND's lottery starting the 1st Quarter of 2004, there is a link to the ND state website that has the proposed rules for the lottery.Within that document are the rules for Powerball, Hot Lotto, and Wild Card 2 (another MUSL game). Since ND can ONLY sell multi-state lottery games, it's no big surprise that they will be joining 3 of the 4 MUSL games. So unless DC joins soon or some other MUSL state, it looks like ND will be the 7th

Gail Howard
Dave, I can't wait to try your technique out once Texas makes up it's mind on which multi-state game to join, if not both. :) Thanks for sharing what you do, as I think if we all share we all get better at # selection closer to winning! :)

win Win WIN The Lotto Texas Jackpot $4M
Hopefully the inclusion of a multi-state game will encourage TLC to make Texas games easier to win..... I can dream can't I? LOL!

TX to join Powerball!
I agree with CASH, I took the article to either be using Powerball in a generic sense (even though they used a capital P) or the writer of the article doesn't realize there are 2 multi-state lotteries. (very possible).Powerball has and always will be a better brand name than the Big Game or Mega Millions.

Will Texas Join.....
since they just approved a bill allowing TX to join a multi-state game, it maybe closer than we all thought. Changing the bill was a first step, but we'll see what happens. OH! The excitment! The drama! The suspense! {just kidding)More info:http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/metropolitan/1924025http://www.statesman.com/legislature/content/coxnet/texas/legislature/0503/0524lottery.html2nd article makes it sounds like Perry will only veto if the ammendments are added.

5/7 New Tex Lot 60-100 million Jacks
Rebeckah: I believe Texas dventually will join MM (although I prefer Powerball.)If and when the TLC sells a multi-state game, than Lotto TX should go back to the 6/54 or even 6/50.

Ever play MUSL Hot Lotto ?
$1.4 million/$840,000 cash Wednesday 2/19. I have a hunch NORTH DAKOTA will have Hot Lotto by Labor Day; DC joins in August. Remember that ND's legislation (currently) allows only MULTI-STATE games; this means ND would not be able to sell scratchers except for the Powerball TV game show.

How do you lose by Winning big?
SMD: 2by2 shouldn't be a multi-state game since the top prize is ALWAYS $20,000 (no rollovers, even though there have never been more than five winners in any month.) SECRET: If you live next to Iowa, I'm surprised you've never bought an IA ticket yet (if you were 19 or 20 you couldn't play there anyway.) Of course you buy Powerball tickets in NE, but, IA has Hot Lotto and AFAIK nothing else in IA can be played in NE. Daily Millions I played once or twice in Rhode Island; why RI doesn't ha

TX changing lotto to PB-style game?
Todd: I've corresponded with Dawn Nettles a number of times. She apperently is the TX Lottery's #1 critic. TX does not have the authority to join a multi-state game; until then, tweaking Lotto Texas is the only way to achieve bigger pots.

How much money is enough!?
I live in Arkansas, which has no lottery at all. However, I live about an hour and a half from Missouri (a Powerball state); and Illinois (a MegaMillions state) is only another hour away. I just started playing the lottery, making a ticket-buying trip every seven weeks. Lotteries make no sense as gambling (the odds are way too low); but, if someone is giving away millions of dollars several times a week, it makes no sense not to buy a ticket. 1:135,145,920 is infinitely better odds than 0 -- a p
