Lottery strategy: fact or fiction?
It's all about numbers, math, money, strategy, and timing....Granted, there's a major difference in a 500:1 and a 900:1 Pick3/4 game....and it's actually ALL the difference in winning more easily and consistently....I honestly believe that those with a solid understanding of math, probability, and combinatorial optimization will fare substantially better. I.
I agree with your points, and seek to expound on a few if I may..
It is really about the Math,.. for if IT'S right, then it doesn'

France sells its lottery for $2 billion
France will bank 1.8 billion euros (US$2 billion) from selling down its stake in the country's lottery operator, according to the final price set on Wednesday in a listing that will serve as a test for France's privatization push.
President Emmanuel Macron's pro-business government kicked off the biggest wave of privatizations in over a decade with the initial public offering (IPO) of Francaise des Jeux (FDJ), the organization that operates the country's lottery. It is seeking to raise money

Lotto drawings, Mechanical vs RNG.
lottobrain
Here is what I think based on the results. First let me say that all pseudo random generators
are not equal. It's basically like deciding which engine is needed to power a car. Some need
more HP than others. What we often call random is more simply defined as obfuscation.
The action of making something obscure, unclear, or unintelligible.
Over the last few years as faster computers came on the market and advances in decryption
techniques it seems to me better rng's

MAGICAL: Once Upon a long time ago there were 50's Happy Days
Once Upon a Long Time Ago 'The Reality of the 50s'
These were the happy days. The 50s
Really great stuff. I lived in seven of the decades of the 20th century and the 50 s were the absolute greatest. Nothing in the 21st century has come close.
It wasn't perfect but I would gladly trade all the technology of today, except medical advances, for a return to the late 50 s and the conditions of convivial political protagonists, seemingly honest politicians, overall conservative mind set,

Massachusetts treasurer continues campaign to allow online lottery sales
Massachusetts Treasurer Deb Goldberg continued her campaign to allow the state's lottery to sell tickets online. She told a budget panel that Lottery sales have begun to drop, citing the record $1.035 billion it generated in 2017 and the drop to $997 million in fiscal 2018.
Of the 44 states with lotteries, 11 of them now offer online purchases. New Hampshire started selling online in September and in just 12 weeks, the state posted over $1.3 million in net gaming revenue from online sales alo

Oklahoma Lottery boosts sales with bigger prizes
Oklahomans spent 40 percent more on lottery tickets and scratch-offs since July 1 than they did during the same time period last year, a boost that has been attributed to changes that include larger payouts.
The Oklahoma Lottery Commission also reported that sales of scratch-off tickets alone are up by 60 percent. Because of higher sales, the commission estimates a double-digit increase in its contribution to education funds next year.
Even without sales related to recent Powerball jackpo

Oklahoma Lottery boosts prizes to lure back players
Oklahoma lottery officials are rolling out a new series of games after lawmakers restructured the system this year.
The state lottery, which has seen diminished participation with its scratch-off cards in recent years, is now able to increase prize amounts.
As participation dwindled, officials had to shrink prize amounts because state law required that at least 35 percent of all proceeds be diverted to the Education Trust Fund. In 2013, the Lottery lowered payouts so it could comply with t

Illinois Lottery's private manager faces 2nd lawsuit alleging fraud
A second lawsuit has been filed accusing the Illinois Lottery's private manager of defrauding players after an investigation found the lottery did not award many of the biggest prizes in its largest instant ticket games.
The lawsuit was filed last week in Cook County Circuit Court by two people who describe themselves as longtime scratch-off players, and like the first one filed last month in downstate St. Clair County it seeks class-action status to cover all players who bought tickets for t
