Do You Give Advice About The Lottery?
We have a friend that always wants to pool Mega Millions tickets, and that means inclusing every single person that happens to be there when he gets the idea to play.
(STRIKE ONE)
We've finally convinced him to go dibs, we play a ticket, and he plays the same numbers (just in case it hits, so as not to have to form a joint blind trust, etc...)
Well, for three years now we've been trying to explain that a 5 + 1 game is actually two lotteries - if they day comes, IGF, you have 5 for 5 on

PB strategies: OOPR's
The data I provided above is the first step in a new back-testable system I am kicking around in the back of my mind.
what I discovered doing the spreadsheet that generated those numbers was that I was using tunnel vision only going just 1 draw back.
at this point I have proven a theory that the ends of sorted order draws like the 5wbs in powerball tend to repeat (draw to draw) the most. This holds true with the comparatively small data pool of the PA match6 and the venerable (4000+draw

Lawyer in $315 million lottery lawsuits ordered to pay fine
A lawyer representing three people who sued their co-workers seeking a share of their $315 million lottery win was ordered Tuesday to pay a nearly $382,000 fine.
Orange County Judge Michael Brenner ordered attorney Mark H. Williams to pay the seven lottery winners after determining he pursued the lawsuits knowing the allegations lacked merit.
The amount was the equivalent to legal fees incurred by the Lucky Seven, who pooled money to buy the winning Mega Millions multi-state lottery tick

Where do you guys come up with the 35% Federal Tax rate
I am under the impression that if somone won a large amount of money, the tax rate would be 25% - 28% for federal taxes. I am basing this info from the info from the irs website.
Why does people on the board reference the rate at 35%? I am aware that they take 25% off the top but where does the additional 10% come from?
This is my first post so I hope I didn't break any rules.

Very weird dream... doctor friend
I dreamed of a doctor/friend of ours.
I was spending the day at his office. All of his visits to children were 34cents. Any donations welcome.
There was a little girl there with a high fever. After the visit, the nurses would allow her to put/throw the change into the doctor's bucket.
This little girl put the quarter in her mouth. I reached in and took it out.
I washed my hands in fear of catching something. I told the doctor that if he had anyone who had to show him their t

Hey there partner??
OK, Lottolaughs, here goes.
If anyone thinks like me I would like to hear from them.
I stick strictly to the P5 games and only those games that employ 39 balls +/- 3. Over the past ten years and better I have identified 10 patterns; hot and cold, odd and even, repeats, and so on. I keep the results of these patterns in Excel.
My computer is programmed to run thru all 575,757 combinations. I set each one of the ten patterns as being either true or false. I then set my computer to ru

Scratch-Off Payouts
Greetings. I am new to this forum, so forgive me if this is an old topic.
I frequently play scratch-off games in New Jersey (where I live) and New York (where I work). I am completely frustrated with the payout system of these games. Some examples:
- Caribbean Cruise Poker ($2, NJ): beat the dealer's hand in all 5 of my hands! $1.00 win for each hand ($5.00 total) for this incredible feat
- Lucky Lines ($3, NJ): completed 5 lines, $1.00 win on each line ($5.00 total); in my opinion, the
