New York State might "Suspend" lottery?
Dumbness in TN? I do not think they have a monopoly on dumbness. I doubt it compares to the polish underground offensive in WWII - they were going to use septic tanks! As for the States going bust and avoiding the annuity for the cash payment, where do you think the money gets invested for the greedy Staters? They have all that you won and the interest on all the jackpots they paid on in the State annuity fund . They just made a bad wager and don t quite know how to break the news, but the

National Lottery
When it was announced that PB and MM would be available in the same states there was some discussions here about it maybe leading to or being a marketing test of sorts for a national lottery. I don't see why we don't have one. Heck, sell the tickets via vending machines at post offices if need be. My only concern is if a super hype job of possible jackpots making players not realize the matrix they'd be up against would be even worse than existing ones. We once had a poll here about

Honeymooners episode...made me think of lotto and some threads here at LP
Lucky Loser, Oh I hear you. I wish, as I'm sure many others do, that there was a way for the $1 - $5 Pick 3 player to know they could make even just a couple of hits a week, box or straight. No taxes, np paper work, nobody knows anything. Might even be tempted, of that was the case, to make a deal with the Lottery Fairy and stop chasing the big jackpots as long as the Pick 3 payoffs kept coming. I remember reading that when all is said and done the average American finishes the year $50

What's with NY Sweet Million??
They are manipulated as to what city will win the jackpot. As for mega millions and powerball they have been won everywhere in ny state ranging from second prizes to the jackpot. People had won the most jackpots and second prizes by playing quick picks, although from a probability stand point self picks and quick picks have the same chances of winning. If you read most winners stories not only from ny state, you will noticed that they have won playing quick picks. By the way ny lotto and mega mi

POLL: Best entertainment at the Institute for the Lottery Insane
There was a very interesting meeting last night at the Institute. People were talking about how they were going to spend their winnings, their jackpot money, and one of the residents had a visitor from outside the institute. She heard the conversation and asked how much rthese people had won, with the talk of buying Mercedes and mansions and around the world trips and such, and one of the staff told her, Oh, they haven't won any jackpots, this is the ILS. At that she said, Well, I was
