Lucky For Life to Millionaire For Life - $5 Ticket
I wonder if I miscalculated or if this is the best lottery draw game ever invented. A $5 ticket is worth almost $5. Exactly how much depends on how many people have to split the top two prizes, which is difficult to estimate without sales numbers. No stupid multipliers and the odds of winning something is a reasonable 1 in 8.47. You can buy all the numbers in the second basket of five with one selection of white balls for half the cost of doing so in Powerball. I may have to paro

Nicolas Maduro and The Lottery
This thread and this post have absolutely nothing top do with playing the lottery. But I couldn't resist the temptation of putting something out here related to all of the story lines surrounding The Nicolas Maduro case. Last Monday in Manhattan, Maduro appeared at his arraignment in the courtroom of a 92 year old Federal Judge named Alvin Hellerstein. Of course reporters want all the info they can gather for their respective media outlets. Politico carried an article where they interviewed

2026 tax rates now published at USA Mega
Both the federal tax rate brackets and the state income tax rates used for the Powerball Jackpot Analysis and Mega Millions Jackpot Analysis pages at USA Mega have been updated to the latest 2026 rates. Federal tax bracket changes happen every year, with the IRS adjusting each bracket upwards slightly to account for inflation. For a lottery jackpot winner claiming millions in income this results in a minuscule change in taxes paid, but the adjustment at USA Mega does make it exact. For s

$1.7 BILLION: Will Powerball create a Christmas billionaire?
Wow, no bumps in the jackpot anymore these days. Looks like no one cares about Powerball anymore Sales are slower than they used to be, but enough people care to buy about 125 million tickets for tonight's drawing, based on the latest sales estimate. What do you think the final jackpot will reach tonight? Will it not make the estimation, will it exceed the estimation or will it pretty much hit the mark? The worksheet posted on Monday estimated the funded annuity at just a hair shy

Pennsylvania Lottery releases its own Cash Pop draw game
I had another interaction with Cash Pop in Pennsylvania yesterday. I played a mix of Match6, Powerball, P3 and P4 on a vending machine. I fed my slips in and while it was cranking my tickets out, the screen pops up and says my free ticket had been generated. I didn't know I had a free ticket coming. When I sorted through the tickets after I got home, there was a Cash Pop ticket among them. I had played $4 in P3 and apparently playing a P3 generates a chance you'll get a free Cash Pop QP. Wha

Can AI Be Effectively Be Ued to Win a PB Jackpot?
Well, everything runs on code so, probably. The chances of winning? Possibly. I don't care what anyone says, anything is possible. When or if I play Powerball, I believe I have the same chance of winning if I let the machine pick or if I fill-in the numbers in manually. For other games, not so much.

$1.1 BILLION: Powerball jackpot increased in longest-ever winless streak
@ShagE3 google 'powerball pay tax in one state live in another', there's your answers. Basically this: As a general rule, if you live in one state and win a lottery in another, you're first taxed by the state where you bought the lottery ticket. Then, if your home state has the same or a lower tax rate than the other state, you won't have to pay taxes in your state. If your state's tax rate is higher, you'll get a credit for the taxes you paid to the other state and pay the difference to you
