Why I think quick picks suck
Coin Toss, you just seem to be missing my point. Let me state it a little differently. When I go spend money on quick picks, I notice that I get an UNUSUALLY high ratio of lower percentage combinations. Using Texas Two Step for example, if 90% of the possible combos have an odd and an even number then I should get pretty close to that percentage on my quick picks, right? Well, I don't. Out of $10 I may get 2 or 3 that are all odd or all even or have some other low percentage type of combination.

Illinois Little Lotto Jackpots 2008
Hey there Texas MadMan
Well, personally I feel that the info. is useful if this is the game someone is going to play.
I'm also using it as a model because there is a drawing everyday (and evidently a winner every 2.7 days).
For all the discussions we heave her about quick picks vs people picking their own numbers, I'd like to see a bunch of people all pick a game and track it, so we'd have this kind of input from at least a dozen games. But I'm prety sure the results would be very simil

Why do you play the lottery?
I want to win the millionaire jackpot. So I can stop working if I choose to , and finally, finally travel wherever in the world that my heart and soul desires to travel to. Also frankly I am tired of these guys or women winning that make alot more money then I do and I've been struggling.
I want to beat the competition and know that I am smart enough and lucky enough to accomplish it and have the financial freedom. Any of the arrogant or negative people that have thought that I wouldn't win a

Tough economy? Some cut back on lottery tickets, wagering
Since April I've been playing much less, only one play per draw just so I can still have a chance to win and look forward to the drawings. It turns out to be more fun to have only 1 number or set in each game because if I lose it's not as big a deal. The payouts on the daily games are still the same, but the big games' jackpots increase more slowly. Even so I still see frequent winners of PB and MM. People still play. I haven't won much lately but for the last few months it was still better than

Hello! I'm new here
Welcome to LP. We don't have MM in Florida, but we do get some pretty large jackpots. Regarding do you ever think you're just in the wrong area .... I think it's not that someone is in the wrong area as much as not being in the right place at the right time which could be a matter of seconds. MM has odds of over 170 million to 1 if I'm not mistaken. So even if someone picks the right state, the right city, the right retailer and the right time of day, the person in front or back of you could buy

Quick Picks Are NOT Random
If everyone used my system, in the long run, the players would be +EV versus the house and the jackpots would never increase.
If there was such a system, and that was the case, the game the system was beating would no longer be available to play - no lottery would be booking the action.
Casinos long ago took the game of Faro out simply because it was an even money bet (for most of the game).
Every form of gambling is run so the losers pay the winners (a lot less than the house takes i

Confidential tax...
Your idea will never be popular because you are trying to hit people with another unnecessary tax...
Besides there will always be people that will know you have money...and the word will spread after that...you don't live on this earth isolated...people will see that you drive nice car, live in a nice house, wear nice clothes etc etc...relatives and friends will know eventually that you got big money because it will show on your daily activities...you cannot hide it completely because what yo

Easy Lotteries Prediction
As you can see, this system already made a jackpot prize prediction with 24 025 dollars investment, and the prize is much higher than investment itself.
So you tell me,why people would not want to play with 24025 dolars for the game...
There is nothing to fear ahead.People are just too afraid to try and believe jackpots are so hard to make. The fact is something else.
We need courage.

powerball changes
FYI, this is what I found from the Associated Press:
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - April 16, 2008 -- The North Dakota Lottery's director says changes are in store for Powerball.
Chuck Keller says that's partly because Powerball generates large jackpots less frequently than its operators would like.
But Keller declined to give any details about the changes being explored. He says details about the revamped game should be decided in mid-May and put into effect for players in October.

If you won a JP the LAST thing you would do:
In most of the what would you do discussions there is always somebody speaking in absolutes as if their ideas are written in stone even thought they've never experienced winning a jackpot. I doubt previous jackpot winners have a hot line and are available for question so the next best thing is the lottery commission that has dealt with multiple jackpot winners. At some point in time, the winner will have to validate the ticket, the state lottery has the home court advantage, sets the ground rule
