What Would Be An Ideal Lottery?
I would keep exactly what FL has now except I would change the matrix back to 6/49. I don't like the idea of a lottery run by the Federal Government. I'm satisfied with the smaller jackpots with better odds.
A worldwide lottery would be too complicated IMHO. Anyway, to me it would never be a real international game, since there are too many countries where just one dollar can be the difference between life or death, where the average annual income is less than $1,000. There are already

Why some jackpot winners blow it
When I worked in the casinos, we would constantly hear players telling other players, I'll get you lunch, watch this. Then they'd call the floor supervisor and ask for comps for the table.
I believe this type of person is much more likely to spend a large portion of their jackpot winnings playing the role because they will a big shot until the money is gone.
I think that some jackpot winners that blow it all or blow a lot of it do so because of other people.
When I read some of

Star Spangled lottery not a hit with players
I refuse to buy a twenty dollar ticket, that is robery.
The Raffles usually have more than 5 weeks between the start selling date and the raffle date and in that time period there are at least 10 lotto draws. Some people just prefer the one time draw with better odds and must win jackpots. Why is selling one $20 ticket robbery when selling somebody 20 $1 tickets over the same period of time isn't?
everybody knows that most of the people who play are poor and to put such a high price on

How Long Will It Be Until We Have A Lotto Billionaire ?
The MM people were definitely caught off guard unless they were being very cautious about advertising ajackpot that was too high. When the previous jackpot rolled they initially advertised the next jackpot as $340 million. On Monday they bumped it to 355 and they bumped it again, to 370, about 24 hours later. After the two bumps increased it by $30 million, the final accounting added another $20 million for an increase of $115 million over the previous jackpot. That was just over a 40% jump

After a $100 Million jackpot win, how would you deal with family?
I wasn't the one who told people I had the windfall and they weren't from lottery jackpots. I kept it quite except for people who basically had to know about it and they told others.
Even when I sold my house when I remarried and relocated to Canada from Michigan I had a cousin come along with their hand out. She didn't need the money at all. Hadn't seen her in some time either. But another cousin that lived close to me told her I was selling my house and moving and yeah.
As for the musi

Why do people try to justify their desire to win the Lottery?
during the day I am an exotic sheep farmer. We raise an exotic breed of sheep called Barbado they are a hair sheep so no shearing and we market them as environmentally friendly lawnmowers for people who have acreages they don't wanna mow with a tractor. Also an artist and composer of electronic music
Only reason I want to win The Lottery is so that we can speed up our plans with our property, and get more musical toys and such.
I reckon we need to win at least 10 Million afterall is said

what is the one state lottery you can't play but would like to?
well not exactly a state lottery...... But since I moved to Canada it's hard for me to play Powerball and MEga Millions.... when the jackpots get big I would like to play them and do when I travel back to the states.
I would also like to play Euromillions and The El Gordo
I know there are places to buy tickets online etc but I don't trust them and the legalities of them are sort of suspect as well.
But then again Canadian lotteries are tax free..... I would still be subj

Mega Winners In Lotto
Lottolaughs, When It gets to 50 million thats about when I start playing, before that forget it.
I think thats why you have so many early on rollovers because not that many people play for the small Jackpots. I remember years ago If you won 3 million you would be one of the richest people in town.
I think that over here in Florida you have many older people on fixed Incomes that do not play because the odds are so high that to them its just a waste of money. I think that a game like this

how often do you play powerball/mega millions in your state?
We have a friend that just couldn't wait for California to become part of MM. If you remember there was a news headline:
Calif. to join MM - possible $500,000,000 jackpots
Well, we haven't seen$400,000,000 yet, and and now that same friend meows and moans every time a Californian hits the MM. Not to mention the exapnded matrix, top and bottom.
I play it but not all the time.
You must can't convince people that MM (and PB) are actually two lottos in one.

Canadian Lotto 649 Jackpot Amounts!
I think the game is much better with the $2 price. Every big jackpot I've seen has been after the price increase. I think the $4 million starting pot is only an estimate as I haven't seen a guaranteed jackpot in a long time.
As far as not seeing the sales, sales are higher now than at the old $2 million start. Just be thankfull that you get large tax-free jackpots in cash.
6/49 will most likely have a 30+ million pot this summer if 14.9 million goes unclaimed on June 7th in Alberta. Unlike
