Woman receives realistic lottery scam letter, check
The article does not really explain how the woman would have been out the $7k if she cashed the check. These scams have been around for a while. The only way she would have been out the money is if she actually sent money to the scammers.

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
Article II, section 1 of the U.S. Constitution reads, in part, The executive power shall be vested in a president of the United States of America. And, Article II, section 3 asserts that, The President shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed... Since the Constitution does not specifically define executive power, critics of executive orders argue that these two passages do not imply constitutional authority. But, Presidents of the United States since George Washington have argued th

FBI warns of Mega Millions lottery fraud
Yes, it is common for a scammer to copy an image off the Internet. Well, not just common, it's universal. So it's good that the FBI released the exact image the scammers are using (the one in this article).

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
I saw an article or news story (can't remember which) talking about personal /credit card debt. Basically they were saying how there is not enough cash in the US to cover all the debt we have. And if it all had to be paid off it would collapse the economy. Same thing with our national debt and all the money we owe to other countries.

Judge: Poker pro Ivey, pal broke gambling rules in $10M win
The casino is at fault for having defective cards and allowing the game ( hands ) to play out. But let's ignore that fact. This judge must have seen video to support the conclusion because the article isn't very clear on the evidence presented to conclude such a decision.

Georgia Lottery looking for $7.5M Mega Millions winner
I don't understand the article. Says ticket was split between TX and VA and yet GA is involved? That's where MM drawings take place if I'm not mistaken. Maybe they meant to say a three way split. Nap time I guess.

Illinois woman loses out on $50K lottery ticket after buying it with drug money
From what I understand from the article, he was the drug dealer not her. I don't agree with the State. What if your brother was a drug dealer and you won some money in the lottery? Could the State take it saying you could have bought the ticket using your brothers money? I'm one who thinks that the government; from time to time, oversteps its authority.

New Zealand man wins $1M lottery after someone cut him in line
Congrats to that lucky guy! Despite the last paragraph in the article, I still strongly believe: NEVER cut in line. Of course, there is Gloria...although she didn't cut as the lady let her go ahead.

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
You're not kidding! Sometimes the comments under an article are better than the article itself. I'm heartened by the posts under pro-Clinton and anti-Trump articles in the Washington Post or on Yahoo and many other blatantly pro-Dem sites. People are fed up.
I didn't read many of the comments on Amazon, but this one was great: On a technical level, the book is well written in that the authors give concise details of all their plans for America once they get their hands on her, if they do,
