Did Hell freeze over?
I just checked the NY lottery website for the first time in a couple of weeks or so, and they've made a major change. Right on the home page, in the prominent boxes that show the jackpots (for PB, MM, and NY Lotto), and in a font that's not the smallest font on the page, they're showing the actual cash value of the estimated annuity jackpots.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
June 2001 -August 2023 for the Cash Value staying above the 50% point of the Annuity. That is a long time to being use to having that figure. Let's see how long this below 50% period lasts. Good luck to all on your next lottery purchase.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Well folks.......should there be a rollover of the Measly Millions tonight from the advertised jackpot of $400 Million Annuity/$185.8 Million CASH , any guesses as to the next dollar amount it goes to ? I did not see anything posted on the TX website for calculations as of this time so I am going with $18 Million for the rollover increase. Good luck to all who are participating in tonights draw.

Being from the volunteer state..... I prefer option #1;
Tennessee: No state tax on lottery prizes.
Your 1 time Lump Sum net payout after Fed Taxes: $520,707,938 ------------- *Option 1
Your ANNUITY average net per year after Fed Taxes: $37,875,938
After 30 payments you net a grand total of: $1,136,278,140 (provided FED taxes remain at 37% for the next 29 years)

$1.3 BILLION: Powerball jackpot soars to 5th-largest in game history
l asked my Ai very important question Good morning l have a good question. The Powerball jackpot is now $1,700,000,000 nobody won last night. So what will happen if the jackpot grows out of control to $5,000,000,000 curious
Good morning! That's an excellent and fascinating question. The idea of a $5 billion Powerball jackpot is mind-boggling and pushes the limits of the lottery system itself.
Here s a breakdown of what would likely happen if the jackpot grew to such an astronomical

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I'm sure the jackpot frenzy will adjust it a bit but it will be interesting to see how it plays out!
I'm pretty sure that even the people at PB aren't all that sure exactly how things could go. Right now they're forecasting a $100 million increase, but since last night finished at 1.03 billion that means their first estimate for Monday is really 1.13. Those Friday worksheets are created about a day and a half before the drawing, but if they ever announced the next jackpot with different num

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
If it rolls from Saturday, our best estimate puts the PB Jackpot Annuity at $1.03 Billion .
I'll be very surprised if it's not bigger than that if it rolls on Saturday.
The increase from last Saturday to Monday was $60.9 million, so it would be very unusual if this Saturday to next Monday wasn't bigger. The increase from Monday to Wednesday was $83.4 million, so the increase to Saturday will almost certainly be bigger. Starting from Wednesdays final tally of $860.1 the same increase of

Powerball reaches $643 million: highest lottery jackpot of 2025
I'd like to see this posted when the cash/annuity are both in the Top 25. Article is premature in my opinion. The cash amount is underwhelming. I won't be playing this Saturday. But good luck to all who are .

Mega Millions Drawing Increase
i'd guess it's a jackpot (annuity) amount payout that could be supported by the actual sales. since the supported amount is a little lower than the advertised amount, it means the jackpot is a bit underfunded. but the gap between supported and advertised looks to be shrinking with each drawing, so by the time someone wins it will probably be ok.
