Illinois Lottery has become a BIG money pit!!
llinois is a cesspool of political corruption, everybody knows that. It wouldn't surprise me if the tentacles of that corruption have gotten into their lottery. Let's hope not.

As a Lottery JP winner: Would you " help" your city out if they were on the verge of bankruptcy?
It's called personal responsibility. If you vote for the party that is most well known for corruption because you hope to benefit from that corruption, you have to live with the inevitability of the recompense that always comes back to those who sow discord. You don't plant weeds and reap cotton. You reap what you sow.

As a Lottery JP winner: Would you " help" your city out if they were on the verge of bankruptcy?
...would you feel bad for the people who would lose jobs, homes, etc? Teachers, cops, firemen all those kinds of people Not if they voted for the party that always destroys cities, like Detroit for instance. They got what they voted for, now they can deal with the aftermath. They voted for corruption, they got corruption, why should anyone else feel bad?

Winners of big lottery jackpots often crave anonymity amid challenges to do so
You obviously did not read the part about Illinois where people thought they were playing a legitimate lottery, only to find it was a scam. I am sure the good folks of Tennessee will agree with that since they had an issue with the RNG being rigged in their pick 3 and pick 4 games. Corruption reigns supreme in Illinois and I am all for at least seeing the face and reading the name of that winner even if they do claim it in a LLC or trust. Given the way corruption works in Illinois, if Illinois a

Frequent lottery wins by retailers investigated
Lottery retailers are given a lottery post of all remaining prizes on each scratch-off every month (the actual number) I know because I saw it after inquiring about Funky Five a scratch-off that is suppose to be open until June of 2010 in New York, yet no one in my area seems to be selling it. (Nor did I read of anyone winning the top prize of 555,555). The clerk whipped out a 3 page booklet and checked because he claimed it was discontinued..I said no, the website claims otherwise. I was of cou

Hoosier Lotto
A week ago I heard on the news that the lottery sold 1.6 million tickets. Just where do they get their math? Based on odds and payouts I figured the sales to be over 6 million tickets. This did not include those tickets with zero and 1 number on them. The odds for those should be about 1 in 3. I would estimate that there were at least 3 million of those. Overall, the total sales should be in the range of 9 to 10 million tickets. Ok, where is the other 8 million? Let me tell you, I have played

convicted felons and lottery winnings
Misunderstanding. Sorry, RJOh. When I was growing up, I used to hear all the time that prisoners made license plates. I also see them picking up trash along the highway. So I assume many of them do these odd jobs already, yes? It's important to make sure that state corruption doesn't allow certain busineses to take advantage of men who are incarcerated for their own profit. Maybe I watched Cool Hand Luke too many times or that movie where Robert Redford investigates corruption at a priso

Democrats trying to ruin Calif. Mega Millions lottery participation
All multistate lottery should be banned. It involves millions of $ and is a breeding ground for government corruption. I should know, I have been a victim of this corruption for five years. I ve learned that politicians and government employees are the real ones we need to be protected from. It started when I left a lottery ticket, that two days later became a winning lottery ticket worth $46 Million, over Allen Oliver s house who works for the city of Jersey City. One of his relatives Jack

Delaware legislation eliminates computerized lottery drawings
Hi all! I am a new member to this foum. As a frequent lottery player of both state and multi-state drawings I was prompted to join this forum as well as the petition to eliminate computerized drawing. I am from from Louisiana, which from the institution of its lottery in 1992 has always used computerized drawings. As many may know Louisiana is somewhat notorious for its political corruption and its spicy politics, hence a state that might instantly come under the radar of suspicion with regards

lets expose the indiana lottery
i really wonder what its gonna take before someone exposes the indiana lottery and its corruption...if losingjeff is buying as many tickets a day as he says he is and then you throw a few more thousand players in the mix in a state of millions there is no way that only 4 or 5 thousand dollars is being won a day, even in tennessee in cash three everyday the amount won on pick three is at least on average 70 or 80 thousand dollars and the revenues there came in below expectations this year! come o
