I will not mention any applications, but I can see several advantages of using a native application versus a web browser application. The most important being a native application doesn't require a constant network connection to work (sometime walking into a store my network drops significantly). The Quick Picks generator available by clicking the link on the left uses a regular old RNG. I do make an effort to use constantly-changing seed values, but it is still a regular RNG. I am in the process of changing that to a much better, cryptographically-advanced RNG, and I'm halfway finished. The only time it re-directs back to the iPhone Edition of Lottery Post is if it cannot set a cookie. Be sure you are going to the main Lottery Post site by touching the Go to main site link, and not trying to go directly. I've had some ads pop up and tell me that my iPhone is infected with a virus when I use the app. I cannot close out, and closing the app doesn't help. I have to reboot my phone to get the app to clear the ad.
