Winning a free ticket, want cash instead
Couldn't they force you to redeem it at the vending machine? It's not worth the hassle for them. The cashier couldn't just leave her stand and escort me to the vending machine while there are 7 other people in the line already. And what would happen if all the five dollar tickets are sold out, what are they g

Fla. Lottery to try vending machines... again
Construction worker Anthony Carey usually gets $50 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets once a week at the convenience store where he gasses up, but he says that'll probably change when Florida reintroduces vending machines later this year in supermarkets. The first of 1,000 machines should begin showing up in mid-August and all should all be in place by the end of November. Instead of just getting them when I'm putting in gas, I would be able to buy them basically anywhere, Carey said wh

The Lynnwood woman, identified as M.B., told Washington's Lottery officials she bought her Hit 5 ticket from a vending machine at her local Fred Meyer store while picking up groceries for dinner. M.B. said it wasn't until several months later that her husband reminded her to check the ticket, so she scanned it at a vending machine and received the instruc

Clerk Prints Tickets Wrong @ $54 Loss to me
No problem if the clerk can fix the machine The clerk fixing the machine is one thing. Having a machine that has your money and won't give you what you want is another. I don't ever want to be in the position of choosing between hollering for a clerk who's halfway across the store and walking away from a machine that might be perfectly willing to let somebody else use my money while I'm trying to find a clerk that can make the machine give me what I want. I've had a play slip jam in a machi
