Now that PB and MM jackpots are at $20.0M and $15.0M
Now that PB and MM jackpots are at $20.0M and $15.0M, some of the local games are looking more attractive. One of those games is Ohio Classic Lotto with a jackpot of $33.3M and a cash value of $16.65M and odds of 1:14M of winning its jackpot. Games with cash values greater than the odds of winning don't happen often and aren't around very long before someone win them. I'll be buying a ticket for Saturday's drawing and hoping to get lucky as I'm sure others will too.

Why have a lottery if you dont want anyone to touch it...
iglen said: What makes you think that the state will not allow lottery winners to live off their winnings? People who win large jackpots do it all the time. my reply: TRY DOING IT...not talking about single jackpots...talking about multiple jackpots, like in Pick3/Pick4...Try it...

$244 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery frenzy ramps up
Actually, the facts do fit. I spoke of larger jackpots as opposed to the smaller starting minimums and lower roll-overs. I wasn't talking about record jackpots or even necessarily over $200 million. I stated that the jackpots now grow faster and are won more often. That is indeed the case.

Pure unadulterated baloney from Steve Player
Coin's statistics, 149 jackpots paid out of 358 drawings doesn't reflect on, how many of the 358 drawings had a jackpot winner because the 149 includes multiple winners on the same numbers. I'm guessing about 90 of the 358 drawings had jackpot winners. Player may have analyzed all the jackpot winning numbers from those 90 drawings in Ill Little Lotto, grouped those numbers together and is really saying had you played these groups, you would have hit 63% of the jackpots . Or Player's groups of nu

New Lottery
The administrator is the government, not one person who works for them. The government is always the biggest beneficiary of the lottery. They supposedly use the money to fund education, healthcare and other government programs. It seems like we're getting a little off topic, I was just simply asking if there would be any interest in a lottery with better odds for large jackpots. Some of the largest jackpots in the world like Powerball and Euro Millions have astronomical odds of winning.

Ohio Classic Lotto jackpot looking good again
You've obviously had read the Ohio lottery website and know that Classic Lotto is a 6/49 game played every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Ohio had a local jackpot game before PowerBall and MegaMillions existed. At one time Ohio jackpot game was one the most popular games in the country and attracted players from all the neighboring states and payed out jackpots of $60-$80 M+. PowerBall was created to help smaller states compete with such games. Then BigGame (later changed to MegaMillions) wa

Are you amaze to see some of the same people win jackpots again and again
It just baffle me to see some of the same people win jackpots three four times, are different people in the same family win. What is it? I just can't believe it sometimes when I read it. I shake my head and say to myself how did they do that.

Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
POWERBALL runners win because huge jackpots are the results of many small jackpots drawings that took place, which allow them to take a cut a long the way. You can say that powerball is actually a smart players scam against players that play with 1 in 195 millions odds and jackpots below 200 millions. A smart player will wait until the jackpot had been pushed way up by those that play when is really low. ARE YOU WILLING TO SPEND $1 FOR A 1 IN 195 MILLION CHANCE OF $20 MILLION OR 1 IN 195 MILL

MUSL Games
The map showing where Hot Lotto is played indicates that it's played in smaller states, probably in states that are too small to have an in-state game with large jackpots. I don't think Texas needs it, because it has Texas Two Step at the small jackpot level, and Lotto Texas with multi-million dollar jackpots. Before the expansion, Mega Millions was played mostly in larger states that can support in-state games with jackpots as big as or bigger than Hot Lotto. If Hot Lotto expands too much
