Take5 NY
I've tried Caspernina's method with Florida Fantasy5 many times.....
But without much success! Could be that Fantasy5's 5/36 matrix as opposed to Take5's 5/39 matrix has something to do with that.
But playing Repeaters and Adjacents is a good strategy with Fantasy5 as Repeaters are drawn in almost 50% of all drawings and Adjacents appear quite often too.
The big problem with Fantasy5 is the low pay outs for a 3 out of 5 match. It's 10 bucks if you're lucky and it's about $125 for a f

Merry Christmas
Shepherds in the region where Jesus was born, which is believed to be in Bethlehem, would typically have their sheep in the fields during the spring and summer months, not in December . The biblical account of the nativity in the Gospel of Luke mentions that shepherds were in the fields at night when they received the angelic announcement of Jesus' birth. This suggests a warmer time of year, rather than the winter month of December.
The tradition of celebrating Christmas on December 25th lik

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
Not for nuthin', but the addition of the midday drawing has changed the characteristics of FF5 with regard to the number of times a hot number hits.
I made an Excel spreadsheet for FF5 that goes back to 2002. It shows the number of hits that the hottest number of each year had which fall into a range of 61 to 68. By June 30th of any given year I could easily see which number was going to end the year as the hottest number because it had 31 to 34 hits on June 30th. So I'd give extra play to t

Awesome, GHL 1234. Congrats...
I actually sat it out today, i did not play (by choice either day or evening on Monday, and I did not play any for Day drawing, but, I just might a few up to 10 bucks tonight.
Quite interesting that today's pick 4 combination, does come out alot of times, (this year alone) i think we are up to 1/2 of dozen times or near that. . .
I actually had it exact/straight with 0185 when i had all those times $$$ straight regular won BIG in july 1 of

thoughts on lottery syndicates
......gonna need a lot more than that,
That made me laugh for no apparent reason it's a valid point - but again it only takes one ticket to win.
If they buy just the $2 with no powerplay or double chance if available, then that 20*2 = $40 every draw.
I would be interested to know how many members are in the syndicate and how much they contribute.
For some silly reasons I have always had the notion that lottery syndicates not the office ones buy like $10,000 or more worth of tick

Mega Millions Just The Jackpot
To your point about variance, yes, JTJ is obviously going to be higher than a regular ticket. Both are going to be a huge variance, regardless. So, if variance is the concern, don't play the games to begin with. You will get a few bucks back by playing a regular ticket and hitting the minor prizes, but as percentage of $ spent, it's still very low. The return is basically predicated on hitting the jackpot, which the average person more than likely would not hit in a thousand lifetimes.

Lotto Jackpot Questions
Why play like that? There definitely are a couple of good reasons why players do it.
Players in NY and Florida commonly play the same set of five numbers multiple times in their respective states Pick5 games. Because the jackpots are parimutuel (divided equally among all winners) a player can steal money from the other winners of the jackpot by playing the same set of numbers multiple times. The parimutuel-ness of the game can be tipped in one players favor.
For instance - if the total

Makes no sense! Happens all the time...
Here's an 2016 article title just for my state: Since 1997, more than $60 million in Wisconsin Lottery winnings have gone unclaimed, according to figures supplied to USA TODAY NETWORK.
From the year before: More than $2 million was left on the table by Wisconsin residents who had winning lottery tickets but failed to collect their cash in fiscal year 2015, (doesn t include scratch-off tickets).
Each year!! , the amount typically fell between $

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
I too see endless jawjacken...from you. Math is cool, math is great, math is perfect, math can't lie and on and on and on.....
That all leads to you being unable to use any of that math to win any sizable sum of money playing the lottery.
So go ahead and show us all how you use math to find that elusive bonus ball by narrowing the field down by a useless 50%. So you use math to have that one ball appear in a field of ~13. Now what do you do with that information? How do you use that inf

Massachusetts store clerk indicted after stealing lottery ticket worth $3 million from customer
All states are different. Based on what I know about the California Lottery and what I have read, I think even under this scenario the CA Lottery would not pay the claimant. There's a precedent of going out of their way to find the original owner. I agree these are interesting hypothetical scenarios to discuss.
For all this talk of bearer instruments, here is the exact legal verbiage on the back of a CA Lottery draw ticket (as of a week ago when I purchased this loser):
Your ticket, not
