There is no certainty in life, for that matter asymmetric event like lottery, my only leverage is degree of confidence and Prediction Interval. States make more overall dollars on instant tickets, but would prefer if you spent every lottery dollar on draw games. It's more profitable. Disproportionate? Maybe one top price remaining or, in the event that there is more than one, it's because a game just didn't sell for a long time and no one really paid into the total prize pool in the first place. I'm surprised you don't see my point. Read your reply again. The problem here is semantic. Haven't you noticed how often people tend to multiply the probabilities of two independent events together and gasping at the large number, when the 2nd event was not predicted in advance? I've seen retrospective oohs and aahs here over people who had multiple big hits spread over years. It's easier to see flipping a coin. I'm not convinced about 024 yet, but that 156 from your sheet caused a major seismic event when when I plugged it into my workup. If we get 156 straight in the day draw today, bet 555 in the Friday night draw and 158 in the Saturday day draw. I'm going to start with 156 today. Having scrutinized the WOF board at a liquor store, the $10 odds are 1 in 3.50 overall, exactly the same as the California Gold. If I were to venture a guess, the playstyle and prize structure of WOF would be the same as the Gold ticket, only with some WOF-specific win icons (uncover a Wheel symbol, win all prizes shown, or something to that effect).
