Would you leave your wife/husband?
What am I hearing? Again, since this is not 1808 and whereby the social norms were dictated, most women married because of the societal expectations: family, community, or religion. Think about it: women have always worked, first, they were teachers -- albeit some of them were waiting to marry, quit teaching, bear fruit, take care of the family, and be contented: that was their lot!
Fast forward -- it is 2008! My, we have come along way, baby -- or have we? To the men: men, why do you marry?

Interesting comment re: Quick Picks

Nonsense by Catlin. None of the Quick Picks make any attempt to checkwhat was previously issued before generating your tickets. ...
A little background info on Catlin, from the back cover of the book:
Don Catlin, professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, knows his way around the numbers. He has worked for the government designing submarine guidance systems, he's been a consultant to the casino industry concerning game design and results, and he's a regular colunmnis

What Will You do if You Was a Human Calculator (Alexis Lemaire)
If you all didn't know who Alexis Lemaire is, he is the French guy that broke the world record by correctly calculating the 13th square root of a 200 DIGIT NUMBER all in his mind without paper and pencil or a calculator...Now if you are aware of it, 1 Trillion has like 14 zeros while the number they assigned to him has 200 digits or should we say 200 zeros...
Now is my hopothesis that with a mind like that you could use it to decipher the state and how many cycles (so i read) the seed of a RN

Predictions
Yes, it probably takes a few extra minutes, but I can't imagine anybody interested in tracking their progress being so concerned about a couple extra minutes that they would forgo the possibility of maintaining years of statistics and comparisons.
Let's say you spend an hour a day coming up with your numbers. Are you telling me that taking 62 minutes instead of 60 minutes is a big deal?
In my opinion there are two main reasons that people don't like posting on the predictions board:

It Is very very Easy To Win!!
I've been containing myself for a while now. I think I've been acting rather rationally.
I just can't help thinking that all this fairytale crap has to stop. Go ahead and crucify me, but it's reality. Some here should really get a grip. Get with the program.
Just about all that has transpired in this life on earth pertaining to easing our life has been through hard work and determination. Not some wishy washy bullcrap. Sorry, but i can't help it. Stop with the Maury Povich mentality.

Hackers & the lottery...
This is a quote from the Missouri Lottery's website(picture is above):
[Quote]
The Lottery s computerized drawing system, which was implemented on July 19, 2004, uses new technology to select the numbers for the Numbers Games.
The computerized system software, named ODDS (Online Daily Draw System), is housed in a secure draw room in Jefferson City. These draw computers are not connected to the Internet or any other network source. The room has no other phone or data

Writing Letters/Emails to Your Lottery Board
A long time ago I wrote the Illinois Lottery and suggested that they put a box on the back of the playslips that said,
Should my dollar not win, I'd like it (or a part of it) to go to:
Fire Departments
Police
Libraries
Ambulance Service
etc...since lottery proceeds were already going for education (ho ho).
I did get a letter back telling me that the technology to do something like that didn't exist.
Fast forward a few years, and they now sell scrathcers for breas

Jamaica police investigating an international sweepstakes and lottery scam, were last night interrogating a 19-year-old St James woman to determine how she came to have $1 million in cash in her possession.
