Take5 NY
My guess is they took it off the top. I think they lowered the percentage of daily sales that's allocated to be paid back to players. The current pay back allocation is 50%. I think they lowered it to 50% from a higher number/percentage. If, during any given day, they sold one million lines (therefore they took in one million dollars) the state keeps half ($500,000), and the other half (the prize pool) is used to pay all of the winning lines sold that day. The split of the prize pool among

State lotteries losing revenue to 'jackpot fatigue' and casinos
I am one of the few that I have seen actually playing regular pick 6 lotto game here in Illinois in my area In past people have commented No one wins that and complain about what is often an endless amount of rollovers With odds of 1:20,358,520 to win jackpot that tends to happen often and can make people play less or give up on game Personally think Illinois should drop matrix back to former 6/48 instead of current 6/52. 6/48 matrix odds for jackpot would be 1:12,271,512

State lotteries losing revenue to 'jackpot fatigue' and casinos
Lotteries, by and large, rely on most players being near totally ignorant of the odds of the games being offered combined with horrible payback low as 40%. For a long time the strategy has worked due in large part to the novelty of games offering higher and higher jackpots at a nominal cost. $1 for a dream. However, that model is waning as the jackpot amounts no longer generate much excitement. $10 million annuity was once a big deal (yes really, way back), then later over $100 million (long

Virginia woman wins Cash 5 lottery top prize 12 times for total of $1.2 million
It is very confusing to me to read about it and how they configure everything, another reason I don't play them. When I first started playing pick-3 games I could never understand the logic of making a box bet unless you're playing three unordered digits. If I'm betting 0 will be in the first digit position, 1 in the second, and 8 in the third position, I'm betting $1 if 018 is drawn, I'll get 1/6 of $500. This box bet has six ways to win, but only one of the ways is the straight bet. An

When 78% of a ticket is sold with 3 top prizes left, do you play only that game?
I always have a theory that the lottery could (i don't know for sure) but could withhold in the factory 1 of the top prize winners. In fact, in NJ, I've seen 2 or 3 huge games (2-5mil jackpots) end before paying them after selling 99% of tickets. To be fair, I've seen some games sell all 3 top prizes with only like 70% sold. But still, when you see huge games with 99% sold and then the game ends without paying a 5 mil winner you start to wonder. Either way, I do like to play games that h

New Mega Millions Game
The minutes of the June 1 Texas lottery commission meeting have been released. Two major changes, other than the details of the revised Mega Millions matrix and prize schedules. 1. Texans who win jackpots can claim their wins anonymously. 2. The implementation date for the revised MM game is Oct. 31 instead of Oct 1, as was announced earlier. Sales begin Oct. 28. Commissioners openly bragged about how making MM harder to win will boost their profits. They recognized that

Illinois lottery players may lose Powerball and Mega Millions at the end of June
This will hurt but not as bad as if an Illinois game went In my area primary games played (From my own observations) are Pick 3 + Pick 4 + Lucky Day + Instant Tickets. Most people dont seem to play Illinois lottey regularly and Mega/PB only really sells alot when jackpots climb past 200M I have been buying Mega every week though recently because I wanted to play it thru until the changes when I wont play it as much. So this will interfer with that but if jackpot gets high enough (300

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Hey all. I've played a bunch of scratchoffs today, and got absolutely wrecked! I targeted games which should have better odds of winning the top prize based on ILRS, and inventory reports. Played through about $150 worth of $5 Cash Fall, $150 worth of $5 Winning Streak, and $150 worth of random $20 tickets? The result...$150/$450 spent. I'm about to head to Greece tomorrow for a week vacation, so I cashed in what I got back and I'll use that while I'm over there. For anyone curio

Ohio's Rolling Cash5 jackpot at $596K
Unfortunately, they will probably never fix it. They are too fixated on bringing $2 games to increase revenue. It's all they can do. They went from 2 draws a day on P3 and D4, and with AoN to 4 draws a day hoping people would play more. There are X number of people who play the lottery. The majority play scratchers. The legislature is going to cut the lotteries advertising budget at a time when they need to advertise to get more people to play. The frustrating thing is that if they just did a

My Systems is working
I was comparing some of the draws for ex. megamillions and seen something. The pyramid yes it does if everyone does it right. For the ones that said the pyramid doesn't well let them be that way. Add, subtract, multiply divide certain numbers works. Something about the 10 if you add a specific number. It just is going into my mind. The jackpots are random number pick correct but I can see something through it. I am thinking of doing a 2nd video but don't want to
