Could the Lottery offical do this??
Are you serious do you think that every powerball and mega million state lottery directors are running a rigged game just for the sake of selling the winning ticket to some person whom they have decided months ago they want to win every time a jackpot is gets big. Lottery directors could care less who wins or loses. Their main interest is selling tickets and awarding checks to people who win. Neither the lottery directors nor the balls in the machine have a clue who bought the winning ticket

Opinion wanted please. I just purchased 3 numbers at a store i never go to. my ticket would not go through the machine so he said no problem ill manually enter them. well he got one number wrong and he also made it a $1.00 number but only charged me 1.50 for all three numbers so i do refuse the incorrect number or just go with the flow? I have seen post where the clerk screwed up but it was a winning ticket so.....

Have I been short changed?
I Spoke to the manager of the super market. He said he does not have the option to pick the prize amount and said the ticket just printed as a 43 payout. He gave copies of my ticket, redemption ticket which the station printed and asked to speak with CA lottery. He said he cannot return the original ticket as the machine already printed out the payout. Will I be able to persue this with CA lottery to get my full payout of 315? Thank you for your help!

What Would You Have Done??
I wouldn't have bought them. Years ago when I used to sell lottery tickets my boss always bought the mistakes. He never won a dime. I hate QP's anyway and always choose my own numbers. Won way more with those than with any machine pick. lottocalgal mentioned incentives . Stores used to get 6 cents a ticket commission, don't know what it is anymore. I don't believe that anyone prints tickets by mistake, it just happens sometimes but someone's got to buy it. A store owner would go broke if they

Jackpot Chasers
i dont see my self traveling long distance to purchase a ticket even if a winning ticket is expected. on the other hand if its a win win situation then thats a different story. i only buy tickets in other states when on the road traveling thats about it and that only happens if i stop some where that have a lottery machine.

$260M Powerball lottery jackpot claimed by S.C. retiree
Congratulations to Mr. Jackson. I hope this brings him nothing but good times. Hopefully he has some sound financial plans. I like that he only spent $2 and I wonder if that included the powerplay. When I went to lunch today, I picked up my individual ticket for tonight's megamillions drawing. I wondered what was taking so long for my slips to be played when I noticed the machine just happily spitting out ticket after ticket. Turns out the guy in front of me bought $140 worth of tickets. I wa

Little, hope you get to feeling better. Do you have any ginger or sassafrass tea? It's an old remedy, but does help with stomach/virus problems. Can't believe my unluck! Machine cut off before my ticket went through. I had 713 boxed on my ticket along with 723 and 486. Oh well, I knew a higher payout was coming; I posted on Sat. that it would probably come on last nite, ($50,000 or above payout) but it came today. Congrats to everyone that won mid. today.

Dateline NBC, Sunday May 3, Lottery clerks Who Cheat Players
I think it's a good idea to check your own tickets anyway. I had thought about starting a new thread but I'll post my story here...... Years ago I had a winning Fantasy Five ticket. (I checked the numbers in the paper) On the way home from work I stopped at a liquor store to cash it in. When the clerk scanned the ticket he said sorry it's not a winner and handed it back to me. I thought maybe it was his machine so I stopped at another liquor store. Same thing only the clerk started to rip the

Who know a thing or two about the POWERBALL ticket?
1.I thought that if the cashier prints out the ticket and you don't want it,then they just have to leave the ticket at the store until someone buy the unwanted ticket,so am I wrong? Some people will ask for QPs, look at the combos and will say they don't want them but since they got exactly what they asked for, it depends on if the clerk can cancel the tickets or believes someone else will buy them. Once an Ohio Mega Millions ticket is printed it can't be cancel so those tickets are yours.
