Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Well today was almost a victory. Right before work, finished a roll of 10,000 jackpots. Only 2 tickets left, 298 299. Lost on both. During my lunch break, bought 9 holiday cash, # 218-226. Broke even. After work, went to Sheila's to cash in yesterday's plus today's tickets. Killed the roll of 2 million Jackpot tickets she had, with #057-059. Had a pair of numbers on 57. Matched a number and got coins on 58. Lost on 59. Broke even again! Spent $41 today. Won $39 today. Lost 2 today. S

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Bottom line is there are too many games. Michigan just added Poker Lotto, Monopoly Millionaires Club and Online games that you can play on the official Michigan web site. When the money goes to those games it does not go into the Jackpot games so you have to wait even longer for the Jackpots to build before you can jump in and start playing. With all the money spent for the online games on the web site and the club keno games at the terminals there is less money to go to the big jack

Can lottery random be predicted?
RJOH What weathermen do is weather prediction based on past, present facts and perhaps also on physics. The lottery not being a weather phenomenon and not having as much to do with the elements can be to some extent predicted using the facts of the game: The make-up of the particular lottery game and the past winning combinations that were produced by the drawings. Stats can be produced from the make-up of a lottery game and from the past winning characters (numbers or whatever is us

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
I was like Wait a sec, 2nd draw? That sounds more like some sort of raffle? Your right this 2nd draw chance thing is confusing even me. I don't like them removing current amount that goes to jackpot prize pool! I think there taking money away form base game to pay for 3 dollar Multiplier game + 2nd whatever draw. NOT COOL to steal form base game to pay for the 1 dollar add on game. Now I do like bigger jackpots... I always been on side of inflation will always happens and you

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Haha! I try Well, I finally got a reliable source of information (lottery director) who explained the change a little more clearly. Big jackpots Multiplier IS included with every $2 ticket Power Up is like old PowerPlay; says top prize is $10 million (no mention of jackpot so assume it treated separately) With this in mind, then I should correct the example scenario of $24 million cash jackpot: OLD matrix, base game 24.87% NEW matrix, base game 23.47% OLD matrix, base w/PP 33.04%

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
My sig garners comments from time to time The point of the first statement is that because the odds are so astronomical and in all likelihood you will never win or even come close to winning, if you are going to bother playing then it might as well be when the jackpot is relatively high. In no way does jackpot-picking improve your odds, just the result in the infinitesimally-likely event that you do hit the jackpot. And as I've shown in posts long ago, playing multiple draws is actually math

Texas Lottery suspends sales of Monopoly Millionaires' Club game
The concept behind this game was not bad. I am personally attracted to a game that offers greater odds at a $1M prize vs astronomical odds at a $100M+ PB or MM prize (that you'll never ever win). This game tries to be too much. If it is modified it may be able to make a comeback. They need to ditch the Las Vegas show and use those funds to pay more million dollar prizes. Start and cap the top prize at $5M (fixed payout, no annuity) and make it much easier to win (1 in 30M vs 1 in 72M). Us

Monopoly Millionaires game
Well, the 1.28 million tickets was a doubling sales scenario. MUSL actually only projects $3,135,234 in sales for next Friday (and they actually overestimated this past drawing), which means the odds would be 1 in 34,835.93 given there is a top prize winner. But I think it's important to stress given there is a top prize winner. Those odds sound great, but that is basically cherry-picking with the idea that you would get those odds. Like you said, the chances are against there even being a winne

Monopoly Millionaires game
Interesting info. The total number of tickets sold in the past drawing was only 643,408? The top prize is maxed out, and yet the number of tickets sold is trending down. Not a good sign. I can't imagine sales doubling, and then again and again to upwards of 10,000,000 tickets in just 4 drawings. Maybe it will happen, in which case MMC proves itself being profitable, and MUSL is vindicated in their choices of how the game is structured. I play a lot at various locations, and I'm not experiencing

Poll: New National Game October 19th - Will You Play?
It looks like Monopoly Millionaires' Club losing money has caught the attention of the media. I read an article in the Indianapolis Business Journal about the lottery losing money and the burden it will put on their private vendor if it doesn't succeed. The lottery cannot be happy about this at all. (Internally, they are obsessed with mentions in the press they literally track every news story posted, date etc. They have even started relying on the media to drive sales for record jackpots.) I
