Lottery Makes it Harder to Study Previous Combinations
In recent years, many lotteries have changed their websites to highlight new instant games, promotions, and large jackpots on the homepage instead of number games - often not even listing daily draw results on their homepage anymore; burying such data deep inside their site. Many lotteries treat traditional number games (pick 3, pick 4, in-state lotto, etc) as old, outdated product and not overly promoting them. And by extension, lack of support and understanding of what many numbers players des

Are people changing the way they play the lottery?
It really doesn't matter what % they say the payouts are if you aren't getting any of it. Somewhat true I guess, but the same can be said about draw games, because the majority payout % in those go to fund jackpots. Why would you play a game where only 50% is returned to players and 60% of that is paid to one person? Why not play a game where 70% is returned to players and only 10-20% is paid to jackpot winners, yet the top prize is still noteworthy and you win far more often? That's one of

Has anyone tried the Pick 6 Leak system?
What state do you play and do you post predictions? If the answer is yes and you play in Ohio, I just play your predictions. I went to his website and was impressed until he said a pick6 player had one of three choices and one was he could continue to play and take his chances at one in over nine billions chances of getting lucky, most pick6 games are 6/49 which have one in fourteen millions chances of winning the jackpots. Time Life books which I trusted because of their name also has a

Theyre both up there...Wouldnt it be cool if someone hit both??
Shelby, you must have read my mind. I was thinking the same thing. What would happen if one person won both jackpots in one weekend. Other than the media going insane and rampant speculation, I think it would be awesome. But knowing that everything I did would be under a microscope, there is no way I'd risk giving one of the tickets away and give the IRS a reason to eff with me. Other than a couple of people, no one I am willing to help will get more than the $14,400 per year. 10% goes to ti

~Why People Aren't Buying Lottery Tickets ??
In another thread we're deciding if MM sales higher, lower, or flat, but I came to the conclusion with the effect of changes in that game, changes in PB, the new Monopoly game, the size of either game's jackpots and other contributing factors, overall sales of all games is the only way to tell. If lottery sales are down in Maryland, there must be a contributing factor which I'm guessing is their casinos. A side note, here in Tx PB sales are down, as they also mentioned in the article about M

Weekly Multi-State Raffle
I play the same one as well as the July4th one that they have. 4 winners of $1MIL each as well as some lower tier prizes including some 100K ones. They limit the tickets to 500 thousand. and with (4) million dollar winners it gives you a 1 in 125,000 chance. With those odds on a weekly basis I would gladly give up MM ..PB..pick 6 as well as pick 3 and 4. for a $20 weekly shot at it. I would still play the cash 5 though as it is one of the better payouts/per odds game espec

Are Mega Millions sales really that bad now?
Sales were $44,498,322 for last night compared to the 3/14/2014 sales of $43,702,292 for a $240 million jackpot. And is more than the $36,816,769 in sales for a $230 million jackpot on 11/29/2013. The $230 jackpot was increased to $270 million and the $230 jackpot went to $257 million. It sure looks to me like the sales for last night's $224 jackpot were HIGHER than larger jackpots and jackpot increases were about the same. The current Mega Millions prize is on it's 18th draw and about two y

Post your scratch ticket results
Hmmmm, I'm hoping most places have them out Monday! For once I actually like some of these Christmas tickets! The 1, 2 and 3 doesn't look very good to me. The 3 is a nightmare game to play, I'd never do that... worse than bingo. The one doesn't look so bad, and I guess the 2 isn't terrible but I usually don't play 1 or 2 dollar tickets anyone. I'm really liking the $5, $10 and $20 new tickets. The $20 has a nice amount of $250 and $500 prizes (don't have to pay taxes on those) and the $5

New Systems Forum just based on real stats and facts!
So, there is not only an LP Dictionary consistent with LP Speak, but a new set of logical relations as well. IF (a person asserts lottery systems are a waste of time) THEN (that person necessarily dislikes the lottery) IF (a person dislikes the lottery) THEN (that person's only true purpose must be to disrupt and cause discord) Interesting. If this kind of logic was used in the building of this website, it would be a disaster. Since it appears to function fairly well, I must as

What state will win the Mega Millions jackpot
Scratch...California has a strong probability of winning......After all, look at what has gone on with the Powerball..Since they joined back in April of 2013, they have produced 5 jackpot winners. There have been roughly 70 drawings +-.........California's population is roughly 38-39 Million people(+- a few illegals) and the US population is roughly 325-330 million..Don't forget, not all states play in the Powerball either, so when its all said and done CA has at least 1/9th (11% or a bit more)
