$228.5M Powerball lottery ticket sold in California
There's too much at stake for PB and MM to be rigged folks and if it was it would be far too complicated to regularly pull something like that off on games at this scale.
The odds are astronomical... throw some randomness into the mix and it will make your head spin even if you can grasp the math.
California is just reaping the benefits of a large player/population base- period.
But anyway, people will believe what they want to believe...
I believe California, New York, Pennsylvania

With Northstar terminated, what will the Illinois Lottery do now?
I was chatting with a retailer and he told me MY 3 and Hit or Miss will be gone, as no one buys them. I don't understand why they create these games as they are just smoke and mirrors. Unless you can tinker with the payback percentage offering more games with the same payback just dilutes the pool. Only so much money to go around and churn.
My last straw was when Northstar changed the Lucky Day Lotto matrix to 1 of 45 making it more than doubly hard to hit the jackpot. They mislead in the adv

Post your scratch ticket results
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum. Although, I enjoy reading past posts, I think it will take me a few days to get through all these pages, so I decided to get to the point of what I am looking for. Has anyone posted an actual picture of a jackpot ticket from Georgia? I'm planning to get a few $20 and $10 tickets this week. I want to start low with about $200.
If I can win that back and hopefully a little more if I don't hit the jackpot, I'll reinvest the same amount in a different se

NC new game: " ALL or NOTHING"
Hello everyone. NC will be starting a new game on 9/7/14 called, ALL or NOTHING !
I thought it would be cool to create a thread pertaining to this game. You get all 12 or none of the 12, you win a $250,000 JACKPOT! The new game offer smaller prizes as well.
Im aware few other states already have this game. Heard some good things, some bad things but.... im still sure many North Carolinians
and other folk will try there hand at this new game.
So..... this thread is for EVERYBODY!

What is the best way to win the lottery?
Be interesting to see the result of all lotteries cancelled quick picks for a period. Something like No quick pick sales until the jackpot reaches $100 million.
1) Lottery sales would likely go down since quick picks are for those who don't have the time to fill out a playslip.
2) Likely mean more rolls between wins and maybe some larger jackpots.
Automating the terminals for player touch screens isn't the answer since people are not going to stand in line while some guy punches in 100

I think the systems or methods for predicts the lottery is illusion.
Your reasoning does have limited merit. If you're talking about the large JP-style games, then it is an illusion to believe that a system can accurately predict and produce a win. The caveat to this, though, is ironic in that it actually can be done with an extremely hefty amount of money, time, and the tedious efforts of preparing all the tickets. It can be done and a former poster here by the name of Ronnie316 actually proved it. I give credit where it's due.
There are other stories of how

Poll: New National Game October 19th - Will You Play?
Sorry about that, I tried to keep the options as few and simple as possible.
You're in Illinois right? Yeah, I don't see them getting in soon but they're still discussing it so never know. Minds change alot
I do think Massachusetts is in. Could be wrong and they haven't announced anything though. They (MUSL) are pushing for the big states to jump on-board because without high participation the game will quickly fail. But it's obvious that doubt exists because 43 states participate in MM/PB

Poll: New National Game October 19th - Will You Play?
As you all know, the new national game by MUSL, MONOPOLY Millionaires' Club, is launching October 19th and will draw once weekly on Friday nights. The game is RNG, and players choose (or QP) 5 from 52 balls; the secondary bonus pool features 1 from 28 Monopoly properties and will be quick pick-only. It will cost $5 per ticket, feature annuity jackpots between $15 million and $25 million (top odds around 1 in 72.8 million), and claims the potential for hundreds of millionaire Club winners (minimu

Why not choose the annuity?
has thrown another wrench into trying to figure out how much you end up with should you win.
Their jackpots are advertised as ALL Cash Jackpot - Tax Withholding Paid.
So now first you have to figure out what they withhold. Almost certainly 25% federal taxes, but are state taxes withheld? Unless you've won a larger amount in the past, you probably don't know that off the top of your head.
Then, many people will not know that you have to pay taxes on the amount of taxes they paid f
