How soon till the next $ Billion $ Jackpot?
Great!
NOW is the perfect time to win a PB jackpot.
Everybody is going to be focused on who just won.
And this jackpot is plenty to retire on.

How soon till the next $ Billion $ Jackpot?
because compared to the cash jackpot the odds are still too long. Ive noted the mid $300m area is where the pot starts to make its move. load the japot statistics here on lotterypost and look at the chart of jackpots for power ball,. it goes parabolic about $400 mill,. not because people need a few mill to retire, but because thats when office pools can win and ea play can get tens of millions. thats when the big money starts to roll in, individuals who say, i only buy 1 ticket are suddenly load

Some on welfare bet big on Maine lottery in pursuit of life-changing win
Well, right now, you described me and my wife. We make in the 50's, but for many years we struggled to get by raising the kids, one of us being laid off from work, whatever. So, here we are, her late 50's, me early 60's, making good money. Comfortable. Retirement? What retirement? She has a few investments that may or may not work out. I have nothing. We never made enough to raise a family and put an appreciable amount away to retire on. Our distraction was raising our kids. Imagine that. Oh, an

My thoughts on the lottery
Hi everyone. A few days ago I got into a brief discussion with my co-worker about the lottery. Was mentioning how I want nothing more than a lottery win to be able to retire and be financially secure but that I would have more luck being hit by lightning or something like that than winning the lottery, I was having a bad at work when I made this comment. My co-worker says she buys 1 ticket for every PB and MM draw and feels you can't win if you don't play. Though I agree with the concept that yo

Group of 12 co-workers claim $60M Lotto Max jackpot
Hi Golfer- I think Faber98 is using the recent pool winners from Canada as the example. They had 17 people working at that company and 12 of them hit it big. Even those they claim that they will continue to work, I seriously doubt it because once the magnitude of $5 million tax free dollars reaches their bank account common sense will prevail.
I bet at least half the winners will retire and without competent replacements the company itself may very well be destroyed. It doesn't help that the

1 million dollars a year for life 1 winner left
who knows - game started w 21 million tickets so 95% sold think was time for them to retire it
was not expecting that to be retired till closer to the end of the year - did not have the time to put the champagne on ice to celebrate NYL getting rid of this awful game
my thinking is that there will be a new $30 that will be just as bad coming out in October

$1 million hasn't changed Iowa lottery winner
mikeintexas, I agree with you about Bob's retirement. That hope is very common amongst us lottery players.
I would retire and look after my extended family. Of course I would be wary of the , Friends and family warning for all lottery winners. I will relearn the word , NO ! .
Bob his doing well with his winnings.

What will MM look like after PB change?
Really hard to say. I'll keep playing both because even second prize gets me out of debt and pays off the mortgage. Then some left over to help retire in a few years. I always play megaplier on MM, and lately I've been playing powerplay. When I compare the odds for both second prizes, (even after the PB change), to the odds for our lotto game, MM and PB still have better odds. And, I'm still in the game for the jackpot.
Good luck whichever you choose!
Maybe play some on both?
