Pick 3 Forecast (Multiple States) 14th Edition
I do not predict in states that use computer random number generators because they are the devil. Yeap, I said what I said. And in case some state officials from states that use computer random number generators (CRNG's) are looking at this please refer to the post where I rant about how muchYou suck! here--- Players against computerized drawings. However, I understand that players in those states want to win just like everyone else. I just so happen to know a predictor who is a fellow L

Bad Luck To Post Numbers To Play ??
When I first joined LP a lady who was here told me to post my numbers like that and she still does. I never did...for a long time I posted every no. I played for each draw and felt guilty if I didn't. But as time went on I started posting a big list for the whole month if anyone wanted to use it fine...if not fine too but I found that it had lots of hits each month and still does. I was keeping up with it for fun just to see how many would hit then realized a lot hit each month. Some

Arizona Lottery director not embarrassed about computerized drawing fiasco
The head of the Arizona Lottery says he's not embarrassed that his department overlooked a potentially costly failure of its computerized drawings. Over a six-day period starting Sept. 28, lottery machines spit out the same numbers in consecutive games. (See Arizona Lottery computerized drawing machine generated identical winning numbers, Lottery Post, Oct. 6, 2017.) The Lottery is now offering refunds or exchanges for anyone who played the Pick 3, Fantasy 5, All or Nothing, and 5 Card

Ark. Lottery Commission Web site launches Monday
The new Arkansas Lottery Commission has been in operation for a little more than a week, and on Monday its own Web site will go live. The URL for the new, not-yet live site is: www.LotteryCommission.Arkansas.gov. At publication time, entering that address into one's Web browser displays an under construction message. In addition, the commission will soon decide the name for the official state lottery Web site for the Arkansas lottery games. The commission is holding a two-day working

Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
Nice post, welcome to Lottery Post! Sadly, the reaction by the lottery to comments such as yours is to quickly dismiss any such notion with a wave of the hand. They start talking about the locked rooms and security clearances and all the other CYA stuff that they use to prove to themselves that everything is just peachy. In August 2007, we all got to see why that attitude is so wrong, and why so many people are fed up with them. Within a week of the now-famous drawing glitches , players

Tennessee Lottery oversight meeting delayed
Update (Nov. 9, 2007, 11:18 am): See below for rescheduled date and time. The Joint Lottery Oversight Committee in Tennessee, which was scheduled to meet this month to discuss the many problems recently plaguing the Tennessee Lottery, has been delayed. The meeting was originally scheduled for November 26th. According to a note sent by a co-chair's staff member, the delay is due to the fact that two ongoing audits have not yet been completed. Both audits will be discussed at the upcomin

Tenn. players picked up on new odds before lottery revealed glitch
Just about all of them do, but there's a big difference between using a computer for a raffle or Keno and using it every day to draw the lotto numbers. (The report card shows that a majority of states have NOT computerized their daily lotto games.) Computers have made it very simple to draw raffles and to draw games every 5 minutes without fail. Computers have important uses at a state lottery. My entire career is based on computers. If there is a person here who supports the use of c

Tennessee Lottery on the hot seat
Tennessee State Senator Jim Kyle, D-Memphis, has asked House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh, D-Covington, and Senate Speaker Ron Ramsey, R-Blountville, to convene the Joint Lottery Oversight Committee as soon as possible to get the lowdown on recent incidents at the Tennessee Education Lottery. This week it was reported that a misprint on Lotto 5, Cash 3 and Cash 4 tickets gave the wrong jackpot for last Saturday night's Powerball drawing. Instead of $15 million, the tickets showed $29 million. The
