Democrats hold up lottery payouts after Illinois Gov. compromises
The article mentions freeing up tax dollars to pay lottery winners. I find this rather bizarre as I had understood that proceeds from lottery sales were used to pay winning tickets and that tax money was never used to subsidize winners. Is it perhaps that Illinois has completely raided the lottery funds and are now having to resort to funds collected from the tax payers of their state for a bailout?

Did Todd write this article? It doesn't sound like him. I've read it three times, and every time, something pops out at me that seems different .. Anyway, good luck to everyone!

My husband's brother won the lottery but hasn't offered to help us out.
The article may indeed be phony. If genuine, I agree with those who say the wife is the greediest one. Her husband may have already gotten some money that he isn't telling her about.

Stories like these tend to be fake. An editor assigns a writer to compose something provocative. It can backfire, too. I had an acquaintance who wrote an article which I knew wasnt true but was then picked up by the media and numerous websites resulting in her being called everything under the sun and death threats.

My husband's brother won the lottery but hasn't offered to help us out.
The article doesn't say whether or not the brothers are close. Maybe they are not. It does say they are close in age.

North Carolina powerball winner arrested
I was one of those people who disagreed with hearsetrax back in spring because i felt it was unfair to speculate. Even with this knowledge of her recent arrest, i stand by what i said 5 months ago. There was nothing on that article to suggest she would waste that fortune. So the only thing left to explain the prediction of her losing the money is/was jealousy.

North Carolina powerball winner arrested
There you go. Good question! I didn't see that anywhere in that article. It says she got busted in a house , but we don't know if the house is hers. And we certainly don't know yet what she has done with her money yet.

At $52 a ticket for purchasing 10 tickets, Baron got a better deal buying one ticket at $46.60. The article doesn't mention it, but it looks like Baron may have won his jackpot in another games.
