While I seriously doubt it, could The Florida Lottery actually be thinking It's too expensive and players wont go for it? My money is on this guess... There's a bill authorizing one of the games in The Florida State government that's stuck and it hasn't yet been sent to The Governor for signature. G5

Good points. You could have the lottery deposit the money into an interest-bearing savings account and set up automatic transfers to your checking account. Make the transfers a bit less than 1/52 of the annual payment and save the difference plus interest. You could transfer $7,000 per week and have about $50,000 left over each year from the $1M minus taxes.

It all depends on the state that sold the ticket. In California in 2021 a winning 26 million dollar Superlotto Plus ticket was sold at a store. A woman came forward and said she has the winning ticket but it had been destroyed. she accidentally left it in her pants pocket when she did the wash. The woman is known to frequent the store and video cameras show her buying the ticket but since she no longer had the physical ticket she could not claim the money but the store DID receive the 130K bonus

Same here @ saving money. I mostly just play one number every draw. When it gets high I buy an extra ticket or two. So in the long run I'm still saving. I'm no longer buying twenty dollars or more when the jackpot gets high. With this new game. I might get bored and buy a ticket on a Thursday or Sunday. But it's gonna be on a rare occasion. Mabye I will budget in for two tickets a month or something like that. I dunno I really haven't looked into the game. I'll figure something out. But anyways.
