Question on Pools
I just read the Oklahoma lottery rule and regs page. I f you are in a pool there is a form that has to be filled out. One person may claim for the group but must have photo copies of everyone in the pools two forms of idenity. Also they need wriiten permission for the lottery to release your check to them, otherwise they will be mailed to you. So ten members in the pool, ten checks.

Pot Size Prediction?
A few years ago a lottery pool in a steel plant near Cleveland tried some similar foolishness when they won a jackpot. They had been playing the lottery for years and invited a new employee to join them. He did and they won. When they split up their winnings they wanted him to accept a smaller share since he had just joined the pool before it won. The case ended up in court with him getting an equal share of the winnings .

Restaurant workers split $4 million lottery jackpot
I was saying if the personal purchase tickets were the winning ticket and the pool was trying to cash in on their winning ticket! The only way to beat it would be to make your personal purchases at a different store on a differnt day than the lottery pool purchases! That's when the security questioning would come in and work as intended!

questions on pools & past experiences
It's a unique situation and it could create lots of confusion if the next of kin found the winning ticket and cashed it being unaware it was part of a pool. What if the ticket holder hid the ticket in a safe place and nobody could find it?
On the other side of the coin if a member of the pool died, that too could create some problems if they owed money to the pool and the pool won the jackpot.
had everyone sign a agreement contract with all the necessary details.
Good idea but there

Restaurant workers split $4 million lottery jackpot
I've been asked to join a pool on several occasions and I passed. Its not that I'm against winning, its that I'm against sharing. Its bad enough enough that I'm required to share with the state and federal government.I'm greedy and not ashamed to admit it.It doesn't make sense to me to share a jackpot with several other people when I could possibly have the jackpot to myself. On the other hand,if people want to join a pool and take a portion of the jackpot instead of the whole jacpot, who am I to say

LotteryVault what's up with that?
If LotteryVault is picking 30 numbers to play in a 6/49 game then chances are they will have all 6 numbers in their pool 30/49 (61.2%) of the time without any special software. A pool of 30 numbers have 593,775 possible combinations of sixes and limiting yourself to 1000 combinations gives you odds of 1:59,378 of hitting six which is hard to appreciate if you aren't matching four or better. I think most lottery players with any kind of a strategy could do as well without LotteryVault's help.

Just curious, but does anybody know...
I guess one other thing that I really should mention is that the (10) people in the lottery pool that I mention really don't want me to change (any more) the way tickets are bought. They allow me to use my system because they can at least understand my system. Anything that they couldn't understand, they don't want to use. (And believe me, some of the people in the lottery pool are complete idiots!)

Texas Lottery introduces $50 scratch ticket
Sounds like these lottery tickets would be excellent candidates for a lottery pool investment. It's not unusual for players to form a lottery pool to buy $50 worth of lottery tickets.

Lottery pool
I think there are a lot more interesting subjects to discuss about playing in a lottery pool than simply saying send me (a LP member and a nice guy in Chicago) your lottery money and trust me to buy your QPs. Maybe have a discussion about the types of systems a lottery pool could use that an individual player might not be able to afford for example.
