Study ranks Missouri lottery as ninth best in U.S.
Good post, Stack! You are right about the low rankings. Looks as if practically every state flunked out. One thing they said about FL that was negative is not complete. Under BAD they state Only 60 days to claim a prize after a scratch game is closed, 180 days for online games This is true, but what they analyzed doesn't bother me at all. Before I play a game, I know the rules. But why didn't they mention that you only have 60 days from the date of the drawing to choose the form

Poll: "My numbers"
I've tracked, I've laughed and cried I've had almosts , my share of losing And now, QP jackpots aside, I find it not so amusing To think, I've tried all that And may I say, not in a shy way Well I don't want to win Unless I do it my way!

Suggested QP VS Choosing Survey Project
I'm thinking the time period I picked was a fluke, judging by the e-mails I get from the Illinois Lottery with the Little Lotto results. Want me to forward 365 e-mails to you? 2007 Jackpots: Jan: 14 QP, 6 player selected numbers Feb: 13 QP, 6 player selected numbers Mar: 16 QP, 4 player seplected numbers For those 89 days that was 43 QP winners and 16 player's numbers winners, or 72.8% QPs. Need I keep going?

Seeking answers and understanding about this site...
First you write: I'm willing to, not only boast, but bet my method against any system, any wheeling-thing on this site and you'll know I'm not just spewing some randomness crap. Then you write: Why waste money on something that's not gauranteed ? There are no guarantees that when you turn the key, your car will start. However, if everything works as designed, you assume that will happen most every day. I will bet you $500 right now that my car will start. I will even bet yo

Ambivalence
I don't understand, Pumpi. How can someone make a killing with 2/5? I've got to go back and read the posts to see how many typos I made. 3/5 paid me about $9 2/5 pays a Free Ticket. Edit: My mistake - gosh, I did it again! 2 numbers in Fant 5 pays a Free ticket. 3/5 pays around $10 (depending on the amount of players/winners) I understand the game and the payoffs, but for some reason I'm typing the wrong information! Anyway, last night I won a Free Ticket with a Free Ticket!! At

$3 million Florida Lottery ticket expires Monday
Larry, I agree with both of your paragraphs, but Florida has a very high amount of tickets that are unclaimed. One reason is that we have so many tourists that probably throw them in their suitcases as souvenirs. However, take a look at the average age of the people who win here if you get a chance. Many winners are over 80. I have a friend who is 85 who buys tickets and puts them in her sewing basket. She is very forgetful. I doubt if she tells her family she even buys them, since they do

What we're up against
Despite everything that's been tried here, all the positive vibes about knowing I'm going to win the jackpot , and what have you, nada, zip, zilch. Tell you anything? If the 5 + 1 games needed players like for the jackpots to grow, they would never reach $25 million. Betting $20 to win millions might seem like a good wager until you make 104 $20 bets. It's not being disappointed that I didn't win the jackpot that bothers me, it's what I should expect to win that is disappointing.

Suggested QP VS Choosing Survey Project
JADE Lottery If you read the OP what I said was let's track jackpots for a month and a day. (Nov 30- Dec 31 '07), so why then would I post days there was no jackpot win? Furthermore, the daily stats for the lower tier prizes, if you've looked at any of the posts, only tell how many peole won $100, $10, or $1. The point of this thread is, since most people obviously won't bother to subscribe to a results list, to track games day by day. Although the PB and MM sites tell us that 70 -

Quick Picks can't match the power of Self Picks
'Looking at a Pick 6 game, the average result is 0, 1, or 2 numbers- which doesn't pay at all.' Typical 'apples to oranges' comparison, Pick 5 and Pick 6 are different combinatorially. If you're going to talk about Pick 5, let's keep it on the same page. Don't interject with a Pick 6 game as a diversionary tactic. The majority of your posts have been Pick 5 related, keep it that way. There is this part you forgot to mention, 'You'd better contact the Wisconsin Lottery and tell them they ar

Quick Picks can't match the power of Self Picks
Jade, I don't think anybody here can bring forth a detailed argument to rebuff anything you've shown with an equivalent amount of empirical data or data analysis. I agree with your premise, because I have come to the same conclusion, back a while. The other thread referencing QP winners, is not a true test, it shows nothing that we already don't know. Your thread here is a true test or comparison that cannot be easily disproven. People need to understand that you are comparing
