Jackpot code on scratch ticketsReply
I'd never heard that the big winners have losing codes on them...figures...I've probably thrown away a couple of jackpots over the years! I wonder if the codes are the same in all states? Are all scratchers produced by the same company? The most I have won has been $500. IIRC the code was F H R I've won $350, that code was F R E. Last St. Pat's Day weekend I played three days in a row; on Friday I won $100, on Saturday I won $50 and on Sunday I won $500....and I'm not even Irish

I realize it only takes one ticket, but my system has always been the more you play, the more chances you have to win. Most systems I read about suggest many combinations for the same play, so that would require lots of dough every week. So if it works, great. If it doesn't, there goes the grocery money. Those jackpots would certainly grow a lot more quickly, though, if we'd all buy a hundred or so tickets, each one cutting the odds in half. A person always wonders where this kind of thinking began..... likely it didn't leave a trail. But I'd put it along the lines of splitting Aces looking at a dealer 10, knowing you get no opportunity for another card, knowing you've got twice the money on the table and the world ain't looking better than it would have if you'd hit them, necessarily.
