The game was called Wild Card Lotto. I know it was one of the last big jackpots before the game was switched. I was 21 years old at the time and in college. Myself and some buddies were at a pitt-penn state football and afterwards we stopped at a Uni-Mart. I was so drunk at the time i bought a sub, a gatorade, and some cigarettes. I saw the ticker on the machine say jackpot of $32M so i decided to buy $3 of quick picks and two scratch offs. That night i missed the drawing but caught the picks in

New Jersey lottery turns 40 with record $2.6B in revenue

It's also impressive because the New Jersey Lottery, which turns 40 in December, continues to be an economic force in a state desperate for cash. Even after all this years, for better or worse, the lottery remains a growth industry.
The lottery is a recession-proof business, says Carole Hedinger, acting executive dire

Help Me Understand This 😭
Does it mean we have fewer people playing MFL in the 31 states where it's available?
Very probably, but when random numbers are involved, you can never rule out random streaks of losing and winning.
Am I looking at the games wrongly? As a player should the focus be on the odds of winning or how often people are winning regardless?
Look at it this way - If somebody else wins the jackpot, are they going to send you a check? If not, you should focus on the odds of you winning.
