Brothers smash father's car with hammers after he refuses to share £3.1 million lottery prize
The father should had remained anonymous from the public. From there, he should have invested the money in the stock market to turn the winnings into 30 million British pounds...

$1.5 billion Mega Millions winner explains how "Lottery Lawyer" Jason Kurland stole $83 million
If this crooked lawyer rat out this anonymous winner, he should get life in prison. It's sad he already stole $83 million. It makes everyone think twice, before choosing any attorney ,if you win big .

Lottery state chart/anonymity and claimants
While staying anonymous may benefit the player, if all big jackpot winners stayed anonymous I think or believe it would hurt the game itself. Make it less legit, or the idea at least. I'll just finish by saying, Paz Para Vieques. Lol Congress will never admit their mistake with Puerto Rico. It would cost too much. But hey to the jackpot winner, you should move to PR. It's a beautiful island, and you'll save a fortune on taxes. You'll probably need to hire a bodyguard though. Lol

$366.7 million Powerball jackpot won in Vermont
Vermont lets winners claim via trust, the name of which is public. If the winner chooses a nondescript name or a red herring name, they can probably stay anonymous. I would name mine Three Optometrists since I'm not in a group of three and not an optometrist.

Michigan: 6/1 - 6/30/2022
Yeah, my mom was buggin' me about the Powerball MegaMillion jackpots both being $312 million, so I played $5 easy pick each. Plus, I went back and played 123 wheel online since the sum of 6 is due both midday and evening. Seeing that you got that 1 off easy pick 996, I put an extra $1 on 896. - I think I'll soon need to join gamblers anonymous, because I just spent almost $65 on just tonight's lottery. lol - Good luck to you, me, and everyone tonight.

Record-breaking £184 million EuroMillions lottery winners revealed
I can't imagine having the right to remain completely anonymous and then waiving it. I wonder if Camelot secretly offers winners extra money if they agree to do the publicity.

Other Countries do their Lottery rules and regulations right! :)
Karen, your chances of winning a jackpot are so small you shouldn't get your blood pressure up worrying about having to do a press conference. If you are that worried about it, stick to the low-stakes games or drive up to Georgia where winners are anonymous and buy your tickets at the first gas station over the state line.

Lottery Winners you knew right off the bat were going to have trouble?
A lottery fanatic should know that not every state permits trusts or LLCS to claim a lottery. Mavis won in a NON ANONYMOUS state.

Convicted murderer Dee Dee Moore in support of anonymous lottery claims in Florida
I believe that the lottery jackpot winner should be anonymous. In today's world it's ludicrous to let people know you won, it only takes one person to be a problem.

Is it worth driving one hour to state that allows anonymity?
I think someone claimed the prize as a LLC in my state, but that person only won a million dollars not the jackpot. I suppose if that happened with a million prize, it could be done with a jackpot with an attorney who is experienced with trusts. Honestly, I would rather just play in a state whereas I could be anonymous without relinquishing control of my prize to an attorney.
