Help organizing a work pool and forming a contract
Also, MAKE SURE it ONLY takes affect on the tickets that are in the POOL. For example, the statement, We agree to share the winnings. isn't good enough because lets say someone decides to go out later on and buy an extra ticket for him/herself. Well, if they hit the jackpot, when the other people find out about it, you don't want them trying to use the contract as a way to get money out of that ticket that wasn't in the pool in the first place. Include the details!!!!

Lottery pool loses $36 million jackpot; wrong tickets bought
Yeah, and we should all be beautiful, live to 150 and never be sick a day in our lives. If you're in a pool, people are going to miss their payments once in a while. That's just a fact of life, and the only thing you can do is plan for it ahead of time. If the people in this pool didn't plan for people not chipping in, or if this is the result of what the plan called for when people don't chip in, they got the had they were dealt.

power ball pool
Running a lottery pool with members you're in physical contact with everyday is hard enough, running a cyber lottery pool would be even harder if not almost impossible. I've participated in pools with friends and co-workers just to be sociable but I have no need to be sociable with people I don't know. Most people get in lottery pools to cover more combinations cheaply while serious players are willing to cover all the combinations themselves.

MM Winning Betheda Ticket Needed
I thought your Chaos55 was designed for the PB5/55 pool, are you sure it will work the same on the MM5/56 pool? I'm trying to do the same thing with my RJX/XX program that works on all lotteries (one size fits all). Good luck to you.

If you ran a pool...
I agree. I hope everything goes smoothly. With that many people in the pool and the ability for anyone to chip in a dollar at anytime, there may be some people who claim they were a part of the pool and left out.

Random Skew Vs Bias
Games like WV Cash25(6/25) and OH Rolling Cash5(5/39) which favors odds numbers have more odd numbers in their number pools which may be why more odd numbers come up. My rule of thumb is several small random samples of a number pool will have the same mix as the whole number pool.

$8 million lottery dispute grips Spain
The guy can't be shocked that his colleagues would be upset by this. It seems that he was involved in a lottery pool and when he won decided he wanted the money to himself. He seems very selfish. If he wanted to keep all the money for himself he should have not played in a pool in the first place.

Arizona man proposes lottery to increase voter turnout
Sounds like a great idea if only the people who vote has to contribute to the prize pool. Forcing non-voters to support the prize pool with their taxes would be a taxation without representation.
