Wanting Lots of Stuff
I agree. I don't have children, but I would want to help put my youngest sister and my nieces and nephews through college. I would love certain things, a nice home, working car and to be able to travel a bit, but what I want most is financial security.

Restaurant workers split $4 million lottery jackpot
I was saying if the personal purchase tickets were the winning ticket and the pool was trying to cash in on their winning ticket! The only way to beat it would be to make your personal purchases at a different store on a differnt day than the lottery pool purchases! That's when the security questioning would come in and work as intended!

Jackpot winner says business as usual at executive assistant job
congratulations to her on the win but i think they released the image to the news too soon. if i only had a month left to claim it then i would understand it but they released that security footage very early and she didnt want a press conference and she isnt answering her phone or door so she isnt acting like someone who wanted everyone watching the news to know she won the lottery.

Thieves burn store, steal lottery tickets
They'd have to be really stupid to compound theft with arson. Last I knew, arson was a very serious crime. And for what? What are they really covering up? Maybe they're destroying the security video, but dang. When they get caught, they'll figure out that wasn't such a smart move.

Official wants fraud probe of Tennessee Lottery
I believe that statement was made to take the attention from who would benefit the most by having a rigged drawing.
When Hargrove announced the Tennessee Lottery was going to computer drawings she sited to maximize dollars for education as one of the reasons. When players began pointing out a possible problem with the new computer drawings because no doubles were drawn, they were told that security had looked into it to insure integrity of its games to maximize dollars for education .

Tennessee Lottery computerized drawings flawed since inception
What a joke!
We tested it and got doubles. Opps...it turns out the programmer made a mistake and programmed the computer so that it couldn't produce doubles. Oops again...the security person who checked our infalable program missed the programming error. OK..now we fixed the problem that we said could never happen in the first place by hiring another programmer from the same company that made the mistake in the first place.
Presumably they are hiring another security expert from the

Tenn. Lottery players complaining over switch from numbered balls
Here is the TN lottery's response to my email.
Thank you for playing the Tennessee Lottery and for your comments.
The security and integrity of our games is of utmost importance and this greatly impacted our decision to go to these type drawings. The Tennessee Lottery goes to extreme measures to protect the integrity of its games in order to maximize dollars for education in the state.
For any one drawing, each of the available combinations of numbers has the same likelihood of bein

Anyone watch E! True Hollywood Story: Curse of the Lottery show?
Actually, a LotteryPost member was featured on that show; his name is Robert Sehested, but he's known here on the forum as Bob21456.
Bob won $500,000 in the MegaMillions game, and a clerk tried to steal it from him.
The clerk at Bob's regular lottery stop had checked his ticket for him, and he told Bob that he had won four or five dollars (I can't remember, but I think he was paid four bucks). The clerk took the ticket and tried to cash it, but he couldn't answer ANY of the securi
