Do you think it's time for a PB / MM merger?
Competition is always good, it keeps the playing field level. If they do merge then I suspect it would not be long until another similar game popped up and we would be back where we started with even larger odds. I wonder what the starting jackpot would be for such a game. At some point there would need to be a rolldown as jackpots could reach a trillion dollars. I myself would like to see something like a national 5-35 without bonus ball. Daily ticket sales might reach 50 million

The Billion-Dollar Winning Numbers From The Future (PB Fortune Cookie)
Playing the lotto during a billion dollar craze gives me a sigh of relief that someone won and it's no use playing next draw after the draw. I've got no idea what that means. If it means you don't bother playing when the jackpot is small that's sensible, but the jackpot is small for the first several drawings after somebody wins regardless of how high the jackpot got before somebody won. What happens if somebody wins at 100, 200, or 300 million and the jackpot drops back to $40 million?

Question for Wheel Design Gurus
Whaatsup B 216? I figured you'd surface on this one.. Combinatorical Wheels reduces the amount of tickets, but still offer the guarantee..by causing the chosen numbers to work together in the minimal amount of combinations that still guarantees the 5 of 5 .,or whatever tier guarantee you're trying to achieve... It's a Mathematical shortcut ..it's possible..but one must think outside the box ...that's as much as I can say.. It's my drawing board answer to the ole 1 digit away disease

The Fifth Wheel (the Long one I am going to buy if this works)
Just a Quick Update. Since my last post, I have been Towing this baby through California and Ohio with a brief stint in Texas. I pulled out of Texas when Garyo (wherever you are) faded from the Forum. Garyo, I hope all is Well. Along the Road, I have blown a couple of Tires, and gotten lost trying to fix the Navigation System. I remember it was not that long ago that they ran the competition in the desert for driverless cars and offered a million bucks to any team that could complete the c

Veterans Day turns jubilant for 70-year-old Army vet after he wins lottery in NC
A 70-year-old Army veteran found himself counting cash on Veterans Day, after he won more than a quarter of a million dollars in the North Carolina Education Lottery. Ernest Dodson bought the Cash 5 ticket at Sons of Nie, an Asian market in Greensboro, and realized the next morning that it was worth $276,688, lottery officials announced on Veterans Day. He paid $1 for the ticket. I about fell over, Dodson said in the release. I'm tickled to death that I can be debt free. Federal an

What's the Purpose of the Printed Time of Purchase on Tickets, If Drawing is 15 min to 1 hr Later?
Working with 5/35. Should/might work for Texas, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and South Dakota. How well it works has yet to be determined. There is also the possibility the game patterns change and it becomes a waste of time. Personally I'd like to play in South Dakota. Texas, Massachusetts, and Connecticut are all flat rate games. Texas pays $25,000, the others pay $100,000. South Dakota is a growing game with an increasing jackpot. They have had jackpots go over $500,000. Any game w

What's the Purpose of the Printed Time of Purchase on Tickets, If Drawing is 15 min to 1 hr Later?
LOL,.. You're right about folks with deep pockets... They can just literally buy the jackpot, and probably do.. Now... My philosophy of submitting my tickets at the last minute has nothing to do with hiding from the system .. the only significant difference in my doing so is the amount of time their Computer has to analyze my plays ..say for example, if I were to submit my tickets at 12pm Noon for MM ?... then their Mainframe Computer would have 11 hrs to decipher any mathematical strategy c

What are Odds & Probability ?
There is no data available to determine which offers an advantage. We know that 70% of the ticket sales are QPs, 30% are self-picks. We know that 70% of the winners won on QPs. 30% won with self-picks. We know that more jackpots are won on QPs than on self-picks due to the 70% sales figure. We know that more money is lost on QPs than on self picks due to the 70% sales figure. In simple form if 100 tickets are sold, 70 were QPs and 30 were self-picks. If the winner is a

My Method: A linear congruential generator picker
That's true Allen. Knowing the game and history of the game keeps the player from stepping in a lot of potholes. There was once a guy whose entire system was playing every combination of 30s. Naturally in a 5/35 there are only six sets from 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 to 31, 32, 33, 34, 35. It is the perfect plan (on the opposite end of playing 1,2,3,4,5,6). The only thing that spoils the plan is if a number starting with 30 or 31 doesn't hit. And through the first 6606 draws it hasn't, g

Is Powerball just going to rot away?
Powerball and Megamillions in their current forms are boring and take too long to win! Who says you cant still have powerball and megamillions tickets for $2 but change them both to be better games and still have the billion dollar raffles? In case anyone hasn't noticed we have yet another top 25 jackpot on the Mega millions which is a common thing these days with longer and longer rolls and fewer jackpots being awarded. Look at both game behaviors since the odds have gone insane. Th
