Speculation begins about NJ winner of Mega Millions lottery
I agree, if a business can't respect their customer's privacy, they will, and should, loose business. I certainly don't disagree, but if you've got the first clue about human nature you have to assume that any time a retailer knows they sold a ticket for a major prize there's a very good chance that they're going to look at any video they have. It's probably much less likely at a large store, such as a grocery store, and stores that are part of a chain. I know that some of the chain stores

One lottery ticket sold in New Jersey wins $521 million Mega Millions jackpot
T.........you sound like Winnie the Pooh's friend Eeyore............ If you honestly think folks don't care about jackpots, you my, fellow poster, are seriously operating on a different theory than Millions of lottery players. Forget about the MM PB for a second. Look at the scratch-offs or games with 5,4 3 numbers. Right now our Texas game called 2Step has a jackpot of over $1 million and our state lottery is at $20.5 million. It's gambling, not everyone wins. They don't had out trophy's fo

Deception
Ok last night drawing I targeted those 30's big time knowing it's time for a couple/few multiple 30's and once again they let (one 30's come VOIDING OUT those many 30's I played. They let three 20's come out looking at all the thirites I played more than 20's. Also I targeted multiple singles and TEENS played a bunch (no singles came out and only one TEEN like they did with the 30's and 20's. It's clear now that they are using a computer program to see EVERY number was used for each drawing (

New Powerball website - contact info
The new official Michigan Lottery Website is worse too. They want to de emphasize the fact that there are fewer and fewer jackpot winners and the jackpots are taking longer to be won. While I don't know about the other states I can tell you that, before Michigan removed its information, we here have been in the Lucky for life game for over 3 years and there has never been a top prize winner in Michigan. If I were running the lottery I wouldn't want anyone to notice that nobody

What's your lottery Goal?
I used to play for second prize when the Power and Mega matrixes were better. On the Mega 56/46 you had a decent shot at second prize and you could megaply it to $1mil Even on the 75/15 You had a reliable shot at $5mil megaplied second prize for 2 bux a tik. Now, It is $3 to play and second prize is almost always @2 million and the odds at the JP have almost doubled. With Powerball you had a 5,000,000 to 1 shot at a powerplied $2,000,000. The odds of even winning se

Draw games versus Scratch-offs?
this is your FIRST TIME ... that you felt compelled to critique it. I probably never saw it before. I've got zero interest in pick 3 or pick 4, so I probably didn't pay any attention to it then, based on the subject. I only took a quick look now because it was brought up in relation to what types of games people play and you said you share some of my sentiments. Since you said the test ran from pages 8 to 11 that's the only thing I looked at, so my comments were directed at, and limited to,

How will the new tax bill effect lottery winnings?
aren't lottery winners considered rich? It depends on how much they win. The biggest chunk of PB, MM, and most state jackpot games goes to the jackpots, but overall most lottery prize money goes to relatively modest prizes. Winning 25, 50 or 100k is nice, but as a one time thing it's not going to come close to making you rich. If you were lower or middle class when you bought that winning ticket you'll still be lower or middle class after winning, and you're not one of the people the Rep

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Wise words Jasefan. I'll be the first to admit I spent alot of money on Super Millions to find that one $100k win. Yes, it put me ahead by alot. If I didn't find that win, I would have been in the hole easily by $15,000-$20,000 with the amount of money I was spending on scratchers. If I were to continue spending $300-$500/month on scratchoffs, I know I could very easily be in the negative again 5-10 years from now assuming the poor returns I've been experiencing recently. (Like $40-$75 b

Arizona Lottery computerized drawing machine generated identical winning numbers
000 came up, that's likely why. Not uncommon for such delays after popular, highly wagered numbers are drawn. If discussion regarding strategy, etc in this thread is any indication, most regular numbers players will continue to play, regardless. It's no wonder lotteries, by and large, downplay RNG issues and carry on as usual. In contrast, many casual players won't play games they believe are potentially rigged. Hence, it's highly likely Mega Millions and Powerball will remain ball drawn for
